"Kevin was very knowledgeable and helpful, posting a part to Breckenridge so that I could continue my TransAm ride. Edit: Sadly, the part I requested for my Rohloff gears did not fix the problem as I had the original splined carrier which has since been re-designed. Kevin called the day after to enquire and then offered a second-hand carrier to replace mine and get me back on the road. I visited the shop and the part was fitted on the spot. That was enough to allow me to ride on to New York and the fix was perfect as far I was concerned but Kevin later called to say that he could source the modified part which would ensure I would never have the same issue again on my ride around the world. My itinerary allowed that I could return the following week and again, the new part was fitted within a few minutes of my arrival. In cycle touring language, Kevin is a true 'Road Angel' and his bike knowledge and attention to detail is incredible. I was only passing through and have relied on a number of cycle shops worldwide to get me out of difficulty but Kevin's approach was beyond expectation. I would not hesitate to recommend a visit here."

The attention to detail and expert advise that we received from Kevin at Tandem Cycle Works through every step of the process, from selecting a bike to sizing to determining appropriate options and accessories to the expert finish details of the bike build, was extraordinary. And then when the bike was ready (one week before the estimated delivery initially provided by Co-Motion) Kevin spent most of an afternoon going through everything on the bike and how to properly disassemble (and then reassemble) the bike for packing into two Co-Motion Co Pilot travel cases, which can go as checked luggage. Fabulous customer service. Made it well worth the travel from Boise, Idaho to Denver to pick up the bike. "Kevin did a fantastic job repairing our two co-motion touring bikes, He is extremely knowledgeable with Rohloff hubs and gearing and he made numerous repairs that no other bike shop has been able to do (and we've been to plenty in the U.S., Europe, and Australia). He charges a very fair and reasonable price for his services and he is excellent at communicating schedules and the how and why behind repair issues and keeping our bikes in top condition. The new owner, Kevin, is absolutely the most friendly, professional and capable guy you will ever meet. He is such a breath of fresh air. From the very first minute you walk in the door of the newly owned Tandem Cycle Works, Kevin makes you feel like family. Kevin just has one of those unpretentious, welcoming demeanors.
