"I've been on several guided trips with Blue Quill. Their guides are excellent and well priced. Tons of knowledge every time out! As for a local (Evergreen) fly shop, they are the best. They have great supplies for tying and all the clothing equipment you could possibly want. I will continue to frequent their shop and book guides whenever I have newbies in town! Update (March 15, 2023) - Went on a guided trip with my neighbor and owner of Blue Quill (as guide), Chris Steinbeck. We fished Shawnee Ranch...it was absolutely insane. We caught tons of fish...multiple species, and as with every other guided trip I go on, learned some new tricks and tips to take with me when I fish solo on public water!
