"I haven't skied in many years. Getting back into this sport was intimidating. Sam in Telluride did an outstanding job fitting me with great equipment. He met my needs and answered all questions. All team members were service oriented with a friendly helpful attitude. They acted with professionalism and enthusiasm. It was a true joy renting this company."

"My wife and I used Black Tie for a recent trip to Telluride. Just before meeting for our fitting on Friday evening, I received a phone call stating that my mother had fallen and possibly suffered a heart attack. At that time we didn't know all the circumstances and didn't know if we would have to return to Texas immediately. The crew suggested we go ahead and get fitted and if we did have to return, that would be no problem. As it turned out, we had to return on the earliest flight out Saturday morning. Both employees and management at Black Tie were extremely helpful and understanding. I will definitely use their services again and will recommend them to others. I might also say this is in direct contrast to Vail Resorts and Epic Pass who acted just the opposite. Everyone I talked to at Vail and Epic had absolutely no empathy, refusing to even consider refunding completely unused 5 day Epic passes."

"The team in Telluride at Elements 52 was efficient in fitting and reteaching “Ski Boots 101” to our party of 5 (we haven’t skied in over 3 years). When my daughter had comfort issues the next day, their Telluride Mountain Village location swapped out the equipment very efficiently and with a smile. The representative knew exactly which boots would work better for her wider foot. I was very happy with the experience and wouldn’t hesitate to book them for our next adventure."

The staff was beyond helpful, professional, and friendly - John gave me pointers that made this the most pain-free and enjoyable skiing experience I've ever had. The valet service allowed us to leave our equipment right on the slopes at the end of the day and pick it up there in the morning, minimizing the time we spent lugging it all around.
