"We came early on a weekday, and didn't experience the crowded conditions other reviewers talked about. The gravel pond is separate from the reservoir, and has no wakes from ski boats. No power boats allowed. Great for swimming, SUP, kayaking, and cooling off in the water. The grounds are clean, and well maintained."

"My girls love to go paddle boarding here. During the week it's nice but the weekend gets packed. Better show up early to get a spot. Ez ups are a must and one with walls is even better to protect from the dust of the cars going up and down the dirt road. Make sure you stake them down as there is always wind gusts that blow in. We usually make a day of it with cooking and music. Always a great time."

"best spot for paddle boarding. no boats so you won’t have to watch out for them. just the people swimming and snorkeling. plenty of parking and little private spots away from the crowd. there’s a rental place for paddle if you don’t have your own. dogs are allowed even on the rentals. :)"
