"I would like to apologize to Jenz Penz if I came across rude on Aug. 24, 2023. It was never my intention to sound rude. My employees and I were trying to get a horrible situation under control. I only had 2 employees plus myself (not 7) and customers offering to help, but I had to decline they’re help due to safety concerns. Shortly after you left, we were told to close. My apologies from me and my staff to you. And again it was never my intention to sound rude. We should have never let our situation come before customer service. Hopefully you can forgive us for our down fall."

"My wife and I went to look for shoes, 6 workers on sight. Just standing around laughing and chatting with one another. We didn’t receive no help! My wife had to walk up all the workers and ask for shoes in a different size and asked if there was anymore shoe stores in the area, surprisingly the manger lady gave attitude and walked off. The rest of the workers were trying to laugh about how my wife was needing help cause she wasn’t sure if they were having a meeting ,and she didn’t want to interrupt. More customers came in and yet they walked out cause there was no help. Never going back. Better customer service would be great!"

"I went to the Durango mall today looking for a nice pair of wedge sandals. I went to JC Penney first thinking I might get a good deal because of the going-out-of-business sale and quickly realized that everything there was still massively overpriced despite the store closing discounts. Popped next door to Shoe Dept and boy am I happy I did that! Tons of amazing shoes, basically all of them on sale. I got the perfect pair of wedge sandals and another pair of booties for only $10, marked down from $50! Unlike JC Penney, Shoe Dept was well organized and easy to find sizes. The employees were friendly and helpful and the selection of styles and sizes were outstanding. I’ll definitely be back, probably tomorrow, because I love shoes and I love sales!"
