Reviews of Brown Cycles
"We called months before, we were perfectly clear we needed a tandem for the tour of the vineyards ride. What was delivered was a bike that was salvaged from the dumpster the day before. Probably the worst experience of a lifetime. DO NOT RENT ANYTHING!"
"I have a unique Escooter and got a flat on main street. I tried a couple bike shops downtown. The first wouldn't even touch anything electrical. So i went to Browns Cycles. Their customer service is great. They weren’t scared to work on my Escooter. I purchased the no flat service they offer. They did an extremely professional job on my Escooter and I couldn’t be happier! Very glad i found Browns Cycles."
"We rented four hybrid bikes for a full day so we could mosey around the city and on the many paved trails along the Colorado (starting at the parks on the river due south of the bike shop, and heading both up and downstream). The bikes were in perfect working order and looked basically new. Tool kits, spare tubes, and pumps were provided too and adding four helmets was just $10 more. We were able to pick up at 5pm so we could start riding early the next morning, then return the bikes at the end of the day. Chris Brown gave us a map and shared some ideas for riding. Though it was on the hot side, we had a great ride with no issues with the bikes at all (and we avoided the thorns, yay)."
"Bringing home my first trail bike! Everyone was very informative and friendly. They did a good job on being straight up about the pros and cons on what we were looking at. Felt no pressure and if you buy new - they do one free tube replacement! Thanks Brown Cycles!"
"Friendly and thoughtful customer service! Rented a road bike from Brown Cycle - the only place in Grand Junction that rents drop-bar road bikes. They set me up with a Felt carbon frame with disc brakes that worked perfectly for a huge ride across the valley and UP and down through the Colorado National Monument. Pickup and drop off was super easy: they deliver bikes to downtown hotels! And provide a small bike bag with an extra tube, pump and tools in case you’re unlucky with all the thorns in this part of Colorado."
