Sent it in and I can't say enough about Lois and what a star she is, so helpful and amazing! The warranty does take time, but handcrafted perfection takes time, even still when I called to get an update Lois helped me put a rush on my Centric, the timing still didn't work to get it to me before we flew out so she recommended we ship to my AirBnB.. "I absolutely adore Scott rods. Having guided in far away countries for big fish, and having been mentored by some exceptional casting instructors I can fish effectively with any rod. The first Scott that I picked up was their second gen saltwater rod in a 6wt for salmon. I don't get stoked about equipment very often, but outfitted my boat, for chasing salmon in slat water, will Scott rods after that. My latest purchase is a 9'6" 6 wt Centric. It may be the perfect rod for big Western rivers. It has a huge sweet spot, allowing precision and huge power. It is my new fave. While I enjoy casting almost any rods, I am always blown away buy Scott's offering in a given category."
