"The atmosphere was amazing and the ladies are wonderful. I wasn’t going to make this review because they all was so great. Alesha also known as Lesha did my starter locs and color. The first two days everything was great, but day three my hair started to fall out, hair all in my hands. I had to cut my hair OFF. I mentioned to her I had a relaxer 4 months ago and she said everything would be fine with great instructions to keep it moisturized. However I found it was way too soon to color my hair and that’s why it fell out. I would not recommend going to her till she educate herself a little more & my locs was different sizes. I love her but not her work. No thank you. I would next time let the owner do my hair if I go back. She still have to learn a lot more. I’m disappointed."

"My daughter, just relocated from the Pacific Northwest, and was looking for a fresh cut as she starts her new life there in Colorado. She was so excited to learn about a black owned business under the name of dear madam walker. Because she “had” rather thick, long hair, she wanted to make sure she was going to the stylist that knew how to properly cut her natural hair. Searching the website for dear Madame Walker. Had us believing that this was the spot. My daughter was horrified with the results of her cut. I don’t know who the owner is, but she should be ashamed of herself as a businesswoman, and as a stylist. This was my daughter’s 1st time at a salon in many yrs and she left in tears. This company needs to be investigated for false advertisement. Whoever posted those photos on the website need to take them down because it is very clear, they do not know how to do a pixie cut. I could maybe understand if this was done by a student but this was done by the owner from my understanding. She may be getting five stars from others, but she barely gets a one from me. If this woman has any integrity, she needs to contact my daughter and rectify the situation either by fixing what she messed up or give her her money back. It will be interesting to see what happens next."

"We were blessed to have our hair care services provided by the owner Kelli! She is amazing!!! The softest hands ever in my head! From start to finish she worked wonders. She moved with quick, professional and efficient purpose; completing both of our washes, conditioning, drying, trim and styling in under three and a half hours! My daughter has thick and long hair that alone usually takes other stylists 6 hours or more. This woman was on it! Her shop is conveniently located, impeccably and stylishly decorated, well lit and clean. The sisterly banter and flow within the salon was very welcoming and uplifting as well as appropriate for children being serviced. There is a true air of community inside Dear Madame Walker Ltd! Kelli's prices are also excellent and... well worth it. I booked our next appointment before leaving and highly recommend Dear Madame Walker Ltd for everyone. Thank you for a wonderful experience!"
