"Wow… and NOT in a good way. I would give negative stars if possible. I cannot emphasize strong enough the amount of incompetence, lack of caring, and lack of professionalism that the OWNER exhibited throughout our project. I cannot possibly list all things that we had to deal with, as I could literally write a books length of mistakes and re-mistakes. There was zero sense of urgency in trying to "fix” any of the problems, let alone to get it right to begin with. She wanted payment upfront and seemed like once mistakes were realized, she no longer cared since she already had our money. She charges a 15% fee for her services, but I cannot fathom how she earned any of it. She caused my entire project to be delayed for 3 months due to her inability to act like a professional. Here are some things we dealt with: We spent about 4 hours picking out everything (cabinets and tile)… so when we went to order it, I assumed that she would have kept track of what colors/materials we picked. First off, she ended up showing us items that were no longer in production… but she failed to mention that, so we had wasted our initial time, having to re-pick out materials. Again, she kept track of NOTHING so when it came time to order everything, she had no idea what we wanted. Thankfully I took pictures of every label on my phone! Aside from not keeping notes in order to reflect what we actually wanted, she literally doctored her drawings, of which I had copies of the originals, to try to cover her mistakes and have them as “proof” of what we ordered (though my copies reflected the actual order and instructions). In more than one case, she would re-order broken parts, but with the grain in the wrong direction or the doors/panels in the wrong size, or re-order incorrect items without correcting the order. She also put off re-ordering the parts that came in broken or incorrect. She also ordered things differently than stated on final drawings. For instance, we were to have a 24” cabinet next to a 20” cabinet; she took it upon herself to order a 30” and a 14” cabinet instead. She did not keep track of which appliances we had, I had to remind her more than once… and somehow our cooktop still did not end up fitting as designed, as the cabinet doors around it could not actually open (they hit the cooktop). She made some orders nonsensical... I specified 2 metal tilt outs, she ordered one in plastic and one in metal. She kept pushing for me to change things in the design to meet HER desires, not mine, and ended up ignoring some of my requests and fulfilling hers. She ordered the cabinets without telling us that the company could not store them for us, so we had to find a place to store 5 rooms worth of cabinetry for a house that was not dried in. She blamed other people for her mistakes. It seemed as thought Carrie was actually trying to make it as horrible of an experience as possible. In addition to everything, it was a task getting her to respond to any communication, yet when she needed her samples back, she was very active in contacting me. Oh! One more thing that made this the worst experience I’ve ever had with cabinets and tile (we have done several flip houses in addition to personal remodels) was that one time she actually called me, not even saying hello or who was actually calling me, and started yelling at me on the phone about how all of this was somehow my fault and then spewed forth various personal reasons why I needed to be more understanding of her. I cannot stress how much someone should NOT use this company unless they really enjoy wasting their time and money. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I regret every second I spent dealing with this company and its owner. If Carrie were to offer to do my next project for free, I would decline without hesitation. I know do not need to consider being offered compensation for my wasted money or time, though, because Carrie has never offered even an apology."
