"Customer service needs work. Having someone barely answering a question is frustrating. Also, not knowing how to help someone pick up an order by telling them to go stand over there and wait is a bit curt. I asked a cashier to help me order something the store was out of and a week went by and I heard nothing. She told me they had plenty of that item at the warehouse so it wouldn't take long. I ended up ordering it on line and got it in a few days. Go figure."

"Apparently World Market doesn’t consider jews as part of the world. Not one Hanukkah item in the store. Shame on them!!!"

"Really like the place and they have a lot of interesting things there. Got to the checkout with my items and the cashier didn’t really say much to me. After she rang me up she just kinda flicked my receipt into the bag and didn’t say anything. Thanks for coming in, Have a nice day, nothing. I’m a black male and I try my hardest not to, “pull that card” often, but considering she was all smiles at the group of young Caucasian girls behind me, it was pretty obvious as to her attitude towards me. Definitely felt like I was discriminated against a little bit today. And I am not one to “go there” like that. Sad too, because as much as I like it there, I’m not sure I’ll go back. Thanks anyway."

"A place where my sisters and I like to go when they're in town for fun because there are endless international food options, trinkets and just stuff to spend money on...always buy more stuff, especially food/snacks than necessary and which are not always at the best price...but it is always an enjoyable way for us to spend time together so glad this is such a large store with always friendly cashier staff!"

"I love going to World Market. I always hit up the marketplace department there to find seasonings and spices that are unavailable at the local grocery stores. I expected things like that to be overpriced, since I describe World Market as "Pier 1 with food", but everything is actually pretty reasonable. They also have Gummi Bears from Germany, instant Miso soup from Japan, and teas from pretty much everywhere. Always had good quick service there too."
