"I want to like and support this local store. However, like many others have stated the employees are a too pushy with offers to help. I was offered help SIX TIMES on my last visit. The first time is pleasant and even the second. The third and fourth time it starts getting awkward. The fifth and sixth offer of help starts to feel like you think I'm stealing. Two of the employees that checked in on me were standing at each side of the exit watching me check out. I've been in the store a lot and spent a lot of money. You'd think at least they would somewhat recognize me as not a thief. Other than being watched like a hawk I generally like the store and can find what I need."

"Very friendly staff, almost to friendly, or bored. I like to walk around stores and not be interrupted every other isle. This place is not like that. Got some double wall stove pipe there. Home depot didn't have it! So always keep True Value in your mind for the odd things that make your home a home"

"Generally speaking, it's an "ok" hardware store with many items to choose. The issue I have is that the employees follow you throughout the store like you're going to steal something. After I've told you 5 times I'm just looking, that means I don't need you asking me 5 more times if I need help. Browsing is just browsing, really! You make me feel uncomfortable and almost like a criminal just for looking around the store. Leave me alone and I might find something, keep bugging me and I'm moving on."
