"This was my first time at Essence Nails & Spa. Flora gave me a pedicure with gel polish while Emily C. did my dip nails. I had an amazing experience. They were both extremely friendly, gentle and performed magic on my beat up nails/cuticles. They also worked very well together. I decided to go with the indulgence pedicure which felt awesome. My skin is glowing and feels very smooth. I would recommended both Flora and Emily C. in a heart beat. I can’t wait to go back."

"I really like the people there because they are very friendly; however, the last time I got my nails done (dipping powder), the shapes were all different, they were different lengths, and they were as bumpy as our Colorado roads. I also had glue and black dipping powder all over my fingers. So I asked to have them fixed, which they happily agreed to do for free. But within 15 minutes of leaving THE SECOND TIME, the polish peeled off my thumb nail, which was filed down so much it looked like it had broken off. Within 3 days, the polish was chipping off, and I had a broken nail. I don't do anything crazy that would be hard on my nails. It's not worth $60. I think I'll go somewhere else in the future."

"1st review: First time in, LOVED it. They did a wonderful job, very nice shop. Had to wait a few minutes, but as someone else said, it was worth the wait. Super friendly. Definitely our new nail place! 2nd review: Not sure what's happened, but the last two times haven't been as good. Had to return to have the gel fixed as she rushed through (while I was getting a pedicure) and left way too much space at the edges. I didn't get a good look until I got home. I almost just took it off immediately but when you pay over $60 it should be neater. I went back and she actually sat this time to fix it. Everyone can have a rushed day - and I did return again. This time, the technician didn't seem like she knew how to use a cuticle trimmer, said minimal to me - just uncomfortable. It took about 20 minutes for the entire thing. The gel bubbled on the first day, by day 5 it's chipped, and almost completely peeling off. Gel manicures have always lasted about 10-15 days before looking awful. No longer thrilled with this place. I hope they improve, was nice having a close place to go."

"This place is AMAZING. Everyone is incredibly kind and talented. I’ve been to numerous different nail salons in both Peyton / Falcon and Colorado Springs and Essence Nails is the absolute best. I’m very particular about the shape of my nails, I love a natural rounded square shape and most other nail techs have messed it up by making it too rounded or too square but Emily makes it perfect every single time. They offer a variety of services including pedicures in varying degrees with massages and treatments, acrylic nail with incredible and beautiful nail art, gel polish, standard nail polish, and my personal favorite, dip powder in a wide variety of colors. This is the best nail salon I’ve ever been to and I will continue to recommend it to everyone! And their cuticle oil smells SO GOOD!"
