"I am so disappointed in the hair I received from Mary. To start, I paid for a hair trial before signing the contract and my hair was amazing! She took her time and was good company. Fast forward to day of wedding, she was supposed to start my first girls makeup at 10:30 and arrives around 10:45 and then has to set up putting us way behind schedule. She didn’t seem excited to be there and kind of brought down the vibe. After she finished my hair, she casually mentions how she didn’t do the bump on the top and made it way less complicated to be more “elegant” for the wedding. This isn’t what I wanted at all. I wanted what I paid for and what we practiced. I couldn’t believe she would decide on her own to change what we agreed on and not tell me until after it was done. I decided I couldn’t ask her to redo it at that point bc we were already behind because she came late. My hair came out of the braids and was fuzzy before the ceremony even started. The only thing I had asked between trial and wedding was to use slightly less hairspray bc it was crunchy. It was a completely different look, the chain from my tiara was showing which was tacky and my veil barely stayed in bc it had to be tucked in the bottom of my head instead of the top of which was how it was supposed to be. I have attached pictures for reference. I give her 2 stars instead of 1 bc she did a good job with the makeup, however communicating with her can still be difficult. For example I told her I tend to do darker brows, so she gave me thick brows. I had to have this corrected which she said “well you told me to go dark.” Yes, dark. The color was fine, I didn’t ask her to extend the width of my eyebrows more than is natural. This really felt like she tries until she gets you to sign and then does whatever is easier after that. I never write bad reviews, but I am still so upset with how bad my hair looked when I should be basking in post wedding excitement. I wish I said something in person and started the wedding late but nothing I can do now. Very disappointed."

"Mary is so talented. She did my hair and makeup and I felt like a complete goddess after. I don’t wear makeup on a daily basis and I don’t even blow dry my hair and she was able to do my makeup in a way that still made me feel and look like myself but better."

"Mary is amazing. If you want someone you trust with your hair she is amazing. She does everything from color and cut to bridal makeup. Only person in Colorado I would trust with my hair or my face! Seriously I can’t wait when it’s time to get my hair done!!!! She does my extensions and they look like my real hair. Give her a try she doesn’t disappoint!!!!!!"
