"Walked in with 4 friends without appointments for manicures and was helped immediately. The technicians were gentle and thorough, one of the most relaxing manicures I’ve ever gotten. Each nail looks perfect to me- shape, color and edges. One of my cuticles did bleed a little but the technicians were very careful and did not do any work on that nail until the bleeding stopped and they applied liquid bandage to it to prevent any irritation. Highly recommend!"
"Edit: 1/2024 I no longer come here. I got my nails done by an older lady & she was so rough (despite my constant wincing and pulling away, and communicating that she was hurting me). My nail beds hurt for over two weeks after my last manicure here. It was actually such a traumatizing experience I haven’t gotten my nails done again since (it’s been about 9 months since). I LOVE this salon! They are so attentive and accommodating. I can usually get a manicure appt on the same day if not within the same hour and they always do a wonderful job. The only negative is (sometimes) parking. Very busy downtown block."
"Will not return because of Agi. Terrible experience. She hurt me multiple times during my pedicure. I had a blister on my ankle that I pointed out to her and she kept touching it despite me repeatedly explaining it hurt. I asked her to stop she told me I was difficult. She also was extremely rude while doing my manicure and kept asking me to get closer to the table even though I was as far in as possible. She again called me difficult literally because my arms weren’t long enough. Will not return. Don’t recommend."
"If I could give this salon no stars and report them to the colorado barber and cosmetology board I would. Hands down the WORST dip manicure I have ever had. The service was bad. The nails were horrendous. overall, if you're african american I HIGHLY recommend going somewhere else because the moment you walk in you'll be seen as a threat and dangerous. First: there was no "manicure" in my dip manicure. The woman who did my nails did not clean my cuticles, no cleaning or management of my nail bed. Second: She sliced my finger and continued to dip it in the same powder container. Yes I was bleeding, no she did not care. The shape I requested was a coffin shape and I had previous dip on my natural, long nails when I came in that were already coffin shape, so she had an example to work from. When she was done the nails were uneven, thin, bumpy and just overall really ugly. I hated them but I don't typically complain let alone leave a review. Third: This is where it gets worse. The day after I got my "dip manicure", my nails (that I've been growing for 4 weeks), broke. The dip polish was peeling and the dip itself was lifting. Now I'll mention I did not work out nor was I working with harsh chemicals. My nail broke when I OPENED MY LAPTOP. For $75 that was pretty unacceptable. Fourth: I called the salon and just requested a refund because their location was out of my way, and only went there as an emergency (massive regret). The girl on the phone (her name is Maya) didn't know anything and when I finally requested to speak with the manager she stated "I've told you everything you need to know, so no". She proceeded to tell me I was suspicious because I wasn't willing to drive 30 minutes back to their salon so they could try and coerce me into letting them attempt at fixing what they messed up. I told them I'd drive there so they could at least see why I hated my nails so much but I wanted a refund because I didn't trust them to do my service correct anymore. When I got there, I was calm, Sure I was upset but I went in calm and collected. The manager kept grabbing my arm and trying to get me to sit down "and calm down" even though I was just calmly explaining why I deserved to get my money back because it was a bad service. When "Maya" came over to where the manager and I were, I calmly stated I didn't want to have a conversation with her because she was rude. The manager stated he needed her as a translator which I understood however there was no misunderstanding or language barrier here. He knew I wanted my money back because his salon did not do a good job. He even mocked me saying "you said my daddy is a lawyer and you have to give me back a refund so NO I will not give you a refund" That's when all hell broke loose and I don't mean me. I got upset at his mockery but I reexplained that that was bad practice and that he was wrong for charging me for a bad job on my nails. I kept asking for my refund and even got another client to agree my nails were ugly and the salon should just give me my money back. During that time I got frustrated and slammed my hand down on a desk to which they took as threatening and dangerous and proceeded to call the cops on me. An african american college student who was upset. The manager kicked me out of the salon and grabbed I presume the next door's dispensary manager to; I'm assuming mediate??? She did not mediate. She was racist to both the salon owner and his staff as well as myself and went as far as to tell me to get over maya being rude to me because "that's just how they (asian americans) are on the phone." And even yelled at me "to go back to the projects" as she ran inside the dispensary flipping me off. In the end, I had to dispute the charge in order to get my money back. Manicure= 0 stars Customer service= 0 stars. Management=0 stars Experience=0 stars"
"I am not one to leave negative reviews but this could not be kept to myself. I am extremely disappointed in the quality of nails I just received but I am even more bothered by the price that was charged. Just looking down at my nails they looks so bad. There is leftover dip all over my skin. The dip is not smooth at all, my nails are big round bubbles. There are also missing spots where the dip did not stick well. During the treatment I could tell she wasn't happy with how they were looking. I don't do well with confirmation and felt uncomfortable speaking up about it, I just want to get out of there after an hour and a half already. Then when I was paying is was $60, which I wouldn't have even minded if they actually looked good. Overall won't be returning"
