"Cru confirmed with me twice (at booking and one day prior) before my event that a makeup artist was coming at 3:00pm. At noon on the event day, Cru messaged me to say the artist was sick. By 1:00 pm they said no one could come for my 3:00 pm appointment - as there was no back up option or Plan B in the event one of their makeup artists is ill."

"We reserved CRU for senior photos hair and make up. My daughter wanted natural looking makeup. She had photos and wavy hair just blown out. She was told to have her hair freshly washed and wet. The stylist was 30 minutes late. Her maps to her to the wrong address but the house address is clearly marked on the house and street. My daughter had to walk around the neighborhood to find her. Her makeup was atrocious. Didn’t blend to her neck and not natural in any way. The stylist curled her hair after she asked for it not to be curled. She’s 16 and didn’t feel she could express herself any more than she didn’t. We cancelled her photos and rescheduled so she could have the natural look. I asked for a refund, but was happy to have them keep a deposit of $100 as that seemed fair. They charged the full $188 on top of the $100 deposit which we’d already paid. This company is horrible. Do not use them. Their service was terrible and looked nothing like photos on their website. Not even close."

"CRU confirmed the day before the wedding that they would be coming to do hair and makeup for my fiances best woman. On the day of the wedding they said their makeup person was sick and they'd be finding a replacement. An hour after they were supposed to be there they were ignoring texts and calls and never said anything to us that they couldn't find someone. We had to scramble to find another company to do her makeup, and their communication was just so incredibly lacking and unprofessional. She liked her hair service but I am still so shocked at how they handled messing up their services that we had booked for months with little to no apology."

Rilie did an amazing job on my elopement hair/makeup. I did not have a trial, but I spoke with her a few weeks prior. She listened to my requests, came prepared, and I was happy with the result. My hair was stunning!"
