"I stopped in here to get my gel X taken off that I had on for over a month. It was my first time here and I was paired up with Tina. Tina was amazing! I’ve had bad luck finding a place here in Denver that doesn’t ruin my nail or lift after a week when I get dip, acrylic or gel (mani/pedi). So getting these Gel X nails off made me nervous! She did such a great job, took her time trying to keep my natural nail as healthy as she could. Were some of my nails weak after getting the nails taken off… of course but my nails aren’t very strong to start off with. Tina recommended I put builder gel on top to help strengthen my natural nails so they can grow out. I am beyond happy with how they look and feel and can’t wait to come back when I have more time for a pedicure and manicure with her (and some of the other ladies). I’m so happy I have World Nails a chance! **I just wanna to precise that this is NOT a fancy over the top nail salon which I know is what some people look for in a nail salon. I would rather had a tech that does great work in a salon w out frills then one that is fancy and over priced.**"
"I will no longer be going to World Nails. My last service was a request and I was passed off to a different person than I requested. I now have 2 ingrown toenails from an inexperienced nail tech. I gave the place one more try, booked a manicure for 3 pm At 3:17 pm I left It was clear that the owner took a walk in in front of my appointment I do NOT book an appointment for you to take a walk in and be over 15 minutes late to my SCHEDULED appointment It's sad that you lost a good client to a walk in Hope it was worth it"
"My GO TO salon! I’ve come here since my sophomore year of high school and every time the nails come out PERFECT! The ladies are super kind and easy to talk to if you want to change shape, length, color last minute. My nails never chip and last 3 weeks!"
"Delighted by my experience and will be back soon. No frills, personal service, great quality nails. Acrylic expertise exceeded my expectations with the best work I’ve had in months in terms of thickness color and speed. In & out in 35 minutes and my nails look incredible"
"I am extremely picky about my nails. My last regular nail lady, was my favorite. She did my acrylics for a decade. No joke. I travel to Denver for work several months out of the year, I live in Atlanta. I've been looking for a new nail tech for over a year in BOTH places. Everyone I had found so far that could do good square acrylic nails cannot do anything that looks modern! The prices here are through the floor cheap for Denver. In many nail salons they charge an extra $10 for this brand of polish. Not at World Nails. Here, they only charged me $35 total for a fill & also fixed 1 nail. I have been charged $65+ for the same service elsewhere. This is a case where I got way more than I paid for. Are my nails the best acrylics you can get near downtown Denver for the best price? YES! As anyone with long time- acrylic nails knows, the best nail techs are usually NOT found in just one visit. It could take 4 or 5 times for your tech to do your nails well. I'm about to turn 39, I've been getting my nails done since I was 14 years old. In all those 25 years I have never had a nail tech do this good the 1st time. Frankly when I 1st walked in I felt like the staff was a little short w/ me. I'd tried to make an apt over the phone & they no longer take appointments evidently. I showed up barely over an hour before they closed & not only did they take me, they kept the entire place open for me for an extra 30 minutes to finish my nails. (Of course I tipped) Good acrylic nails usually take 2 hours for a tech w/ 5- 10 years experience... As I waited to get these done, I took a closer look around me & saw that this establishment has obviously been around for a little while. My nail tech said she came in early to do 2 eyebrow jobs. Suddenly everything became more clear from the other reviews I've read. When I'd tried to make an appointment- they said they don't do that, I thought in my head "well if they don't take appointments in this day & age & they are still in business, they must be doing some things right". I was right. The shape of my nails = beautiful. They are thin but strong where I need them to be, for my manual labor job. I know the style these days is rounded or pointy nails, but as any acrylic expert will tell you, that shape breaks & lifts quicker. I got the exact shape I wanted. The reason they were short w/ me is because they take PRIDE in their work. She knew what she could reasonably get done within the time frame she had, & even kept the place open longer just for me. She did what any good nail tech would do & steered me in the direction of the polish that gave me the best nails in the end. This salon isn't new, but it is spotless clean. My nail tech, I would guess, has been doing acrylic nails for at least 30 years. It shows. She listened to what I wanted, verified each of my choices, & executed them better than I had expected. Especially considering that in the last year, she's been the best in Denver. Experience matters. I don't need a coupon, I don't need an appointment, I will come & wait. Because she's just THAT GOOD. I've spent DAYS researching online for good Denver acrylics - many places don't do acrylic here, which is a shame if you work w/ your hands @ work! Most nail salons that have a ton of pictures use pictures that are not their own work, or their work isn't as good as they think it is, lol, and they shouldn't advertise them online! I NEED acrylics. Not only because they last longer, but also because they protect my finger tips at work. One day I had a coworker drop a half ton case on my finger tip & if it weren't for my acrylics, I would've lost the tip of my finger. Go here. You won't regret it. Trust me. They may not be perfect nails, but I bet you a fill that if you give them a few tries, they'll get your style down. This is only the second 5 star review I have ever given a nail salon in my life... They have obviously made all the important changes per the reviews!!"
