"I came in today for the deluxe facial care by their esthetician program student, Tori. She was absolutely amazing from the beginning of the appointment and until the end of it. She went over a few questions/concerns I had about my skin, and she gave me lots of suggestions and advice. The whole experience for the deluxe facial was very comfortable, relaxing, and super helpful. Even hours after of the facial, my skin looks and feels so much better and I will continue to visit her! Thank you to both Paul Mitchell and future esthetician, Tori! :)"
"Kudos Paul Mitchell. Excellent job on my hair! The service was better than the Ulta and half the price. The students are fantastic. Kalley Jansen (highly recommend her) was my stylist and did a great job"
"This was my 1st time there. I was so nervous but it was great a great experience. Sienna made me feel comfortable and did a great job on my hair. I left with more confidence than when I arrived. Thank you"
"I went to Paul Mitchell to get a haircut and highlights. The haircut needed to be redone by the teacher but was ok when it was done. For the highlights I specifically asked that they be added in a way that looked natural and did not create obvious lines. After she added the highlights I expressed concern that they looked very choppy and the student’s attitude immediately changed. I tried to be empathetic and understanding and I told her that I know it must be difficult to meet so many varying expectations and her response was “I don’t care because it is just a class, I will care when I’m working at a salon”. She did try to add a root smudge to fix it but she acted rude and hurried and made me feel very uncomfortable. When she was done the teacher came over and said it looked great, but they did not show me the back. When I got home, I was able to look at the highlights and there were obvious lines (see photos). I called the same day to ask if it could be fixed or if I could get my money back. They told me that my appointment had been cancelled and that I hadn’t been there. When I offered to show them my receipt they changed their tune to and said that I could come back the following week and talk to a manager. This is where things went from bad to worse. When I arrived, I asked to speak to the manager in the lobby, but they had a stylist take me back to the salon. She agreed that it didn’t look right and asked how I would like it fixed. I said I would like the highlights to blend higher on my head. She went to ask the manager and the manager came out and said they would not do it. She said that because it was higher than when I came in it was acceptable and they wouldn’t do anything. She was very confrontational and loud and said I was being completely unreasonable. It was incredibly embarrassing being talked to like that in front a group of strangers and I felt that she was purposefully trying to belittle me. I asked to have my money back. It took over half an hour for them to process the refund, meanwhile all the employees/students are walking in and staring and laughing at me behind my back. I’ve never been treated so unprofessionally by both employees and management in my life and I could never go back here. I understand that it is a school and that they are still learning but that level of disrespect is intolerable, especially from the teacher. If this is how they learn to treat customers at this school, the school is doing the students a major disservice."
"Paige Hand did such a GREAT job. She totally made me feel comfortable being in a new environment. Her teachers were sooo nice coming around and making sure I’m okay and I understand everything going on. Super exciting and hope she goes far."
