"I have been going with my client who is a Disabled person for over 3 months. He is in the buddy list. Today a new female manager stopped us from using a facility. Apparently i think my client was a person of color. I told her we have buddy pass for him and every employee knows him. She refused us entry before she checked her computer. Very rude and racist female Manager Hem Latest update as of Feb 2/29 /24 Since a new Male Manager. ( person of African country origin ). came. The Briarwood Fitness center has gone from Baaaaaad to Woooooorse. See the picture. The rest rooms are locked always except one Family restroom. There is green mould like substance in Whirlpool. Sand at the botom of the two pools. Janitor staffs are NO where to be seen. The male manager is NOT fit there. Please get someone more capable. The floor at sauna. Extremely dirty. And at the steam room too.So people are supposed to be barefoot?"
"This used to be a great gym until they fired the cleaning crew. As soon as you walk up those stairs pay attention to how much accumulated dust there is. How long do you think that’s been there? I’ve walked into bathrooms where the floor is so sticky from piss being all over the floors. the bathrooms stink i wouldn’t use them unless i absolutely had to. the floors are so dirty i can’t even imagine when the last time they cleaned them were. i leave catching some sickness going around anytime i leave. (no exaggeration) The sauna also always seems to be broken . AND not to mention the environment in there is NOT welcoming. if you’re looking for a place that is welcoming to anyone who is starting in their fitness journey THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO START AT. not once did i feel comfortable at this facility. after 1 time of stepping foot into Vasa highlands ranch. i will not be looking back."
"The good…they have actually started cleaning the bathrooms more regularly (not regularly enough). Most of the equipment is functional. Good variety of equipment and weights. The bad…every morning that I come in, most of the paper towel holders and the disinfectant spray bottles are empty. I spend more time walking around looking for these two items than actually working out. It irritates me that there are signs ALL over the place about wiping down equipment after use and then they don’t bother to supply the necessary items to do this. The mats have been disappearing for months so that’s another thing I’m spending time looking for. The bands fell apart one by one and have yet to be replaced. Today I come in and NOW the back equipment AND the ab bench has been bolted to the floor. Not only are the bolted down but they are bolted so close to the elliptical machines that they are uncomfortable to use because the people on the ellipticals are basically crawling up the crack of you a$$. The ab machine now has to be swiveled around (it has one bolt in it) if you want to get on it backwards to do leg lifts. Also the equip you can do pull ups, abs and/or leg lifts on…again is so close to the Cybex machines it makes working out on them uncomfortable especially if you have to swing your legs back, chances are you will kick the machine behind you. Like does ANYONE think of this BEFORE making the stupid decisions?"
"The teachers and the classes are really good. It's a large gym so there are a lot of options. However, the cleanliness leaves much to be desired. Clumps of hair all over the women's locker room and showers, bugs, dirt, it's so gross. If a clean gym is important to you, 24 Hour Fitness is not the place for you. To keep the locker rooms in sanitary conditions, they need a cleaning team multiple times per day, not just once a week or once a month or whatever they have now. This gym decided to cut costs in that department and it shows."
"Hands down one the cleanest gym I have ever been to. This gym is massive. So it’s a monumental task to keep it clean and maintained. Kudos to the management for maintaining the gym meticulously. The guests are a delight to be around. Staffs are welcoming as well. Love to be here every time."
