"Absolutely worth a stop at this winery. We had an amazing time with Annette, Kylie, Patrick. Their knowledge and the quality of the wines made this the highlight of our wine tour. Without a doubt. Make sure you try the white cabernet Sauvignon. One of the best wines I've had all year."

"The wine was mediocre at best. The views are stunning. This is why the winery was recommended to me and I see why. If you get a tasting you get a cheap plastic glass. If you want a glass glass you have to pay 5$ for an upgrade. That’s just tacky as there is great evidence about how drinking wine out of plastic alters the taste(you can Google this or ask any professional sommelier). Also, how wasteful to produce and waste so much plastic in todays day and age… The wine is priced very cheap and the taste reflects the cheap price. Alec was very friendly and laid back. The lady whom he was working with had a chip on her shoulder and acted like serving you was the biggest inconvenience. Come for the views, not the wine or the grumpy server."

"The winemakers, Bo Felton and Justin Jannusch, have done an excellent job in crafting the wines and took the time to talk with us, despite how busy they were with harvest. Their single varietal wines, such as their Petit Verdot, Estate Selection Merlot and their Cabernet Sauvignon Rose’ are some of their best. In the tasting room, the wine specialist Lance Lewis is extremely knowledgeable and we enjoyed talking with him about all of the wines, the vineyards and the process. We especially enjoyed his tour of the winery and his patience with our endless questions. Alek in the tasting room was welcoming and did a nice job in describing the various wines and walking us through the unique tasting process, where you choose the wines you want to taste and are handed artfully crafted cards for each wine that includes all the information you need about the wine and can then sit outside in their beautiful setting by the river to enjoy each tasting, one by one versus the usual “stand at the tasting bar” and rush through your tastings. Colterris Winery is a must for your Grand Valley AVA winery experience."

The tasting room, although beautiful, could benefit from more seating options to accommodate larger groups. Additionally, it would be wonderful to see an expanded food menu or small bites available to complement the wine tasting experience. In conclusion, Colterris Winery offers an enchanting experience for wine enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.
