Reviews
"They were our favorite at the old location on Iliff Ave in Aurora. But now after reviewing their menu and talking to them on the phone will not be visting this new location. I understand the regular menu items having price increases which is fine but now that they no longer have Taco Tuesday, Thirsty Thursday and a less appealing happy hour not worth the extra drive for us. Unfortunately too many changes."
"First time checking out Ajuaa’s and oh my goodness!! You always know a Mexican restaurant is fabulous based on their salsa. Great fresh flavors with a hint of spicy goodness! The margaritas were great. Highly recommend the Pomarita! The stuffed jalapeño pepper appetizer and dipping sauce was top notch. Dinner was carne asada for me and husband ordered the combo plate with a chile rellano, enchilada and taco. Everything was delicious! Great flavors, super fresh and authentic cuisine. WE WILL BE BACK!!"
"So happy to see them back open finally. Space is more quaint than before. Prices have increased a bit but food still tastes great. Service is fantastic!"
"This place has moved a lot of places. We have followed them from Broomfield to the new location. The new location is tiny but clean looking. Sadly the food is not the same. The prices are not the same either. They are much much higher. Our bill for the same items that are now smaller, bland and well like the taco salad $16.00. I would compare to a Dennys side salad was just bad. Old location for 3 combination plates and 2 drinks $59.00 new location taco salad, 2 combination plates and 2 drinks $78.00. I get they need to make up money. However giving the same sizes, quality and service would be worth the extra money. We seen two of the original employees and at the old location it was like they was family. Today it was like they had no clue who we were after almost weekly dinning there for almost 15 years. Well we do wish you all the best of luck. Sadly it's just not for us any longer. But on the positive side it seems like the locals love your happy hour."
"My first experience here was not good. The ice tea was very weak, closer to water than tea, the chips were small pieces that I couldn’t even dip into the salsa. I ordered a beef taco that was so salty I could barely eat it. My 8 year old ordered a grilled cheese and fries and his fries were a mix of twice fried crunchy and soggy. I get it, don’t order fries at a Mexican restaurant, but some kids are picky and every TV was frozen on some different screen. Maybe it was just an off night."
