Dickey's Barbecue Pit

"So I love BBQ and I am familiar with Dickies but man has this location been hit or miss. Ordered a 1 meat plate of brisket with fries and coleslaw. The brisket was so fatty that I really couldn’t eat it. And they forgot the toast and BBQ sauce. The portions are already small but the completely fat end brisket just made me sad. Never again."

"Placed a mobile order for a kids brisket with fries and a loaded baker with chicken. The brisket was quite good as always. However, the fries were very heavily seasoned (see picture) The loaded baker had fake/bacon bits - this was for my wife, who is gluten free, and most bacon bits are not gf. Unfortunately, the portion of chicken was about half of what we received last time (see picture) Minor item, the soda was very off, likely the syrup had run out, and I had ice even though It was ordered without ice. Overall, generally good food, but some general lack of consistency and portion control."

"Horrible customer service!! I used the Dickies mobile app for the first time, so I could utilize my T-Mobile Tuesday deal. So pick it up at 8:38 and was ready at 8:30 show me being who I am I tip 30% just because I felt like they close at 9:00 and I appreciate their service. That was before I walked in the store.. No one said hello, boo, we're closed, nothing. I let her know I was here to pick up my order, she didn't say anything at all. Just gave me my order. I said thank you and she might have said you're welcome but that was it."

"What is this? This is what I paid $20 for? You give me this big giant bag and it’s hardly anything in here. The brisket is dry. The rib is OK. The sausage has a good flavor but it’s mushy. the fries have way too much seasoning. the mac & cheese has no flavor. This is my third time being disappointed by barbecue in Colorado Springs. I think I’m just going to give up at this point."

"October 12, 2023 This visit was a shock to our wallet -$8.65 for a small quart container or less of baked beans. Guess I should have learned my lesson last time. Ridiculous. We are long time customers of Dickey's - all the way back to the Grand Opening of this store. But times change and so do business strategies I guess. We still enjoy the food, but starting now will be guests at Bird Dog BBQ. Both the male and female staff members there today seem like the most unhappy and uncaring people we have ever met. Although they greet customers, they appear like robots, never smiling, unfriendly, and show a uncaring attitude. We hardly got both feet in the front door and the male shouts at us: Is this for here or to go? And I have to remind the cash register gal about the drink that comes with my meal, and then I get the stink-eye because I did not add any tip to my credit card purchase. These 2 employees exude a sentiment of hating their job and do not appear friendly at all. To top it off, the ice cream machine was removed. Dickey's is going downhill fast. Even the catering van parked out in the parking lot for advertising bears completely sun faded paint, as if it is ready for the scrap metal yard. Dickey's Corporate folks can't be very proud of this store. We sure aren't and we won't be back again."
