Reviews
"One of the best Salvadorian restaurants hands down. I always get the pollo con spaghetti and a side of grilled shrimps and a bean and cheese pupusa. Try the pineapple and nance drink."
"Best pupusas in Denver, and it's not even close. So affordable - a must try!"
"Absolutely amazing. I love this place. Killer people and even better food."
"These pupusa’s are absolutely delicious! The menu is in Spanish, so look ahead and use a translator app if you are not proficient. The staff was so kind and patient with me as I stumbled my way through ordering. I got a beans and cheese (my favorite of this meal!) and a pork papusa (filled corn cakes) that were both filled to bursting with deliciousness. The fried plantains were caramelized and rich, complemented nicely by the crema sauce. I also tried the plantain empanadas which were custardy and sweet to end the meal. The seating is comfortable and there was plenty of it on a Thursday afternoon. The setting is very casual, much like a taqueria or fast food joint, but the food is anything but! If you haven’t tried Salvadoran food, this is a good place to start."
"We came to Pupusas unexpectedly. I left thinking Salvadorian food could be the best food in the world. Caramelized sweet & creamy plantains with salty bean and sour cream sauces. Flayed, butter fried shrimp dusted with oregano. Cheesy Revuelta & Loroco pupusas, were loco. This place is busy on the weekends, so prepare for a little wait, but for us the service was friendly and fantastic. They may possibly have the cutest coffee cups in the world."
