"This is one of my FAVORITE places! The food and pastries are incredible, but what really makes it special is the owner. He is incredibly kind, friendly and always brightens our families day. If you visit Stanley make sure to visit him for the warmest smile and the yummiest churros!!!"
"These churros were one of the best I have had!! The filling was spectacular but the right crunchiness is what convinced me. The owner was there and he was super friendly and helpful in answering our questions. We tried the coffee and it was ok, he did warn ua that it was “American” coffee."
"Undercooked churros and runny chocolate-not worth the visit. Was excited to try this place but it was an absolute disappointment!! I know what Spanish churros should taste like and these are not it. Not even passable as a dessert - totally tasteless."
"I was curious to try this place after hearing so much about it. To my surprise it wasn't that special. We got the $9 experience and the churros were very good. The problem was the hot chocolate. I'm from Italy and we only have thick hot chocolate so I was expecting to have delicious chocolate as I can't find it anywhere in the US. It was thick, but it tasted like nothing..I don't know what it needed inside to make it better..but it tastes like thick water with a very small amount of cocoa powder..very disappointing.."
"The owner is very nice, friendly, and welcoming. The churros are really good! It's nice to try the Spanish one. I also tried the other pastries, and they are really good. The Spanish horchata was different from the Mexican but still good. It does have more of a nutty flavor because of what they use to make it, but still really good. The owner/manager did explain to us the difference between the Mexican and Spanish churros. My family being Mexican did notice the difference and I was pleased to know the difference and where the original churros came from and a short explanation as to why they are different. I did like that they don't have the cinnamon and sugar on top because it does make the filled churros very sweet. Amd with these not having that sugar coat made them very enjoyable to eat. The tarta is very delicious in my opinion. I like that it is gluten and dairy free."
