"For fast food BBQ it was good and tasty. Definitely not homemade but tasty. I’d I don’t have time to make my own Dickey’s is definitely a go to for me. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean"
"I live in the neighborhood and decided to try Dickey's. It was the worst BBQ I've ever had. I got ribs. They were cold and burnt, almost tasted like beef jerky. I literally gave it to my dogs. I had such a high hopes for this place. I guess I'll continue getting my BBQ elsewhere. But this place isn't it."
"Walked in around 6pm as a family of 4 to get some barbecue, and we ordered our food. The restaurant would not accept $50 or $100 bills, because apparently they have no access to modern technology to test if modern currency is fake or not. The young folks behind the counter were eager to assist and take our order. As we got our food and filled up drinks, sat down, and started eating, I first tried the chicken. Which was cold when I bit into it and as dry as a desert. I then tried the brisket, which was also cold. The 1(one) rib that came with the 3 meat plate was semi warm, which was somewhat of a convenience. The mac n cheese was decent and the fried okra was also decent, I guess at least the sides were warm. When we asked if they had butter for the rolls, they said they were out, but could get some. The person then poured butter from some kind of container that had been sitting on the side of the oven, and there were small flakes of something floating in the cups. Overall, this place was very depressing to eat at, and I feel that our money was wasted on a trash corporate scam of a restaurant. 1/5 stars. I’d give 0 stars if it were an option. DO NOT EAT HERE"
"It's been quite some time since I've been to the Aurora location across from Costco, but Tuesday evening I was craving Dicky's. I was so incredibly disappointed. Yes, the ribs were tender, but fatty and little flavor. The okra (my favorite side ever!), was so overcooked it was hard. My granddaughter's fries were overcooked and over seasoned, her boneless wings overcooked and hard. Only way she could eat them was by tearing off the edges. My grandson's sausage was tough, fries over seasoned, and brisket he thought might have been undercooked. At least the mac & cheese was hot and creamy. And when did the soft serve ice cream machine get removed? That was one of our favorite parts! The best part of the meal was the slaw. The staff seemed to not speak English fully, so we were challenged in communicating our preferences. Starting about 2 hours after getting home, all 3 of us that ate had digestive issues lasting all night into today, Wednesday. As I said, I was so disappointed. And to think, for 3 of us to eat dinner, I paid almost $42 for food that wasn't the best and left us feeling ill. Poor form, Dickey's, poor form. Unless there is a big change, I am not sure how soon I'll be back. So disappointed."
"I don't know if it's this Dickey's in particular but the food portions seemed way smaller than the other ones I've been too. I remember ordering wings at one before and was sticker shocked at the price but once I got the wings I was impressed with the size and happy with my purchase. At this one the wings were literally just small bar wings would have been better off going down the street BWW. The fries side that came with it maybe filled the bag half full if that. Maybe I'm being greedy. My wife's pulled pork sandwich was bland and the bun was hard. The service was good and fast, place was clean but I don't think we will be visiting this one again. Best thing about it was the oversized fountain drink."
