Snooze, an A.M. Eatery

"Originally, I had eaten at this restaurant almost a decade ago. The meal I had left a positive impression. So when I came up on it again and was very hungry, I had no choice but to eat here again. I decided to try the pineapple upside down pancakes. The pancakes were soft and well made. I had a nice customer service experience."

"This place was an absolute must on my trip to Denver. It ended up being my entire family’s favorite restaurant the whole trip (were big breakfast people). We visited 2 different locations while in town but the Union Station location really is something special. I am dairy free and also eat like a vegan a lot and there were plenty of options for both categories! It’s a shame that there aren’t any of these up here in New York"

"Time is 10:28, morning of a Monday in Denver Union Station. Keep in mind the train station activity so add more time for delivery of food and wait times. This morning I sat at the bar where travelers disembark the train and order coffee to go. Breakfast is classic - three eggs, two chicken sausages, a disk of potato hash, and wheat toast with jam. Across the hallway is TC Books. Snooze color scheme is tangerine orange and sunshine. I'm eyeing a strawberry glazed stack of pancakes next to me. So full."

"Food wasn't bad. Main concern was the service . All our food was cold when we got it. Drink was good at least. Got the kimchi bloody Mary. Had a spicy rum that was nice. The maple pepper bacon was fine, but for $2 a piece leaves a bit to be desired. The crab cake egg Benedict was good, nothing negative to say about it."
