"Came here because it had such ahigh star rating. The inside was packed and the outdoor seating was not as busy, but even during a sow storm I did not feel cold. I was worried about how I would feel in the outside part and I don't think it was that bad. They made sure our drinks and chips and salsa was always full. The family loved everything they got. Although they did have an issue with my Mocajete. I was able to pick it up with my hands. If anyone knows this comes out steaming hot and you have to be careful to touch this because its always so hot. The food was warm, but my cheese was not melted etc... When I saw the waitress again we brought it up to her and she ran it back and changed it our so my food would stay hot. In my head as a waitress you should know these things need to be steaming hot and if you bring it out and don't hear the boil something is wrong. I might come back here gain if I was in the neighborhood. I would not go out of my way but if close i would stop."

"Nice little hole in the wall place. Simple diner like setting. Basic tables and chairs, no real decor. A little compacted, but has a nice additional enclosed patio. Was there on a Wednesday night and it was packed! Was loud and chaotic. Was packed next to people where we constantly were bumping eachother, apologizing and saying excuse me. Complementary chips and salsa to start. 3/10 on the chips. Half of them were under cooked and still hard and chew, unfortunately. The few that were fully cooked, were fine though! House margaritas and nachos to start. The margaritas weres strong, which was nice being $13. The nachos were good. All the chips were cooked nicely and came with a decent portion for the price. Packed with chicken, beans, Pico guacamole and sour cream. It's a good starter. The vegetables fajitas are ok. They don't have them on the menu, so I don't think they have a wide selection of veggies to use. They just subtracted the meat and added corn and tomatoes, and still charged the same price as getting meat. $17. Good flavor, but nothing really special to set them apart from just basic sautéed vegetables. Didn't get any tortillas with them. Beef enchiladas were good, again nothing special. Caritas plate had good flavor. A little dry and the green chile is nkee jbJust decent Mexican food. If the chips didn't start me off on a bad note, I'd probably had given it a 4. Overall, the servers were nice, service was good, and the food was authentic Mexican. Not bad at all but nothing to set it apart from other places."
