"I highly recommend this place. They don't have done-in, so it's great if you're just looking for take-out. They're very pleasant, and it's tasty food when you're looking to satisfy a craving, like me today! I didn't rate atmosphere because there is no dine-in and it's cold in here."
"Sidewok is one of my favorite restaurants- the food is always fresh, delivered or ready for pickup promptly, and every order I've ever placed has been correct. The people that run this restaurant are also a major plus- the woman who answers the phone and handles to-go orders is so sweet and friendly, and Sam, who delivers orders always stops to say hello and check-in in addition to dropping off the food. There is little better than knowing you are supporting a family-owned neighborhood gem, but I also can't say enough about the many vegetarian and vegan options here- their sesame vegetarian chicken is the standard by which I measure all others- they use a homemade meat substitute in this and their other veggie dishes and the flavor and texture is spot on, with a delicious, tangy sesame sauce. My husband loves the BBQ vegetarian pork fried rice, and we've turned my non-vegetarian in-laws on to the pad Thai, which is delicious and saucy without being gummy. Other highlights are the spicy kung fu tofu appetizer, which is a lot like salt and pepper tofu, hot and sour soup, which has gotten me through a couple colds already this winter, and the pure depth and thoughtfulness of the veggie/vegan menu. Sidewok is truly a great neighborhood restaurant, especially if you're at least mildly curious about veggie substitutes. But we order from here for our meat-eating family and friends, too, and they have always enjoyed it as well."
"I may have reviewed this place before because I have been coming over many years. However I didn’t frequent the place for a while and upon my recent return, the flavor and quality of the food significantly declined. Cool name, used to be delicious but lost our business."
"The restaurant itself is old and dingy and in a rough part of town , I ordered chicken basil and cashew shrimp and they just used the exact same sauce for both dishes and it was tasty but way too sweet. Not authentic at all. Won’t be back."
"Absolutely love this place! Never came in to eat only ordered out. Very friendly and welcoming. Good size dinning area kid friendly and LARGE portions of food! You definitely get your money's worth."
