Law’s chophouse

"Overall the food was ok. Definitely nothing special and the Caesar salad was so over dressed and had so much lemon juice it was watery and inedible. Our steaks were cooked to order but slightly under seasoned without much of a crust to provide a good texture contrast. The drink service was terribly slow we were on our second course before even receiving our cocktails. If you live in the area and don't want to travel it may be worth it but there are many better chophouses in the Denver/Boulder area."

"The place was less than half full on a Saturday night, which should have been sign. Service was not great - the first round of drinks for 6 took 20 minutes to get to the table. The second round had two incorrect orders. Pacing through the entire experience was strange. We got our appetizers served and finished before the meal orders were taken. Bread was served only after we had placed the dinner order. The food was good. Appetizers were delicious, the steaks were just OK. Our group of 6 all got the same order, their signature dish - the plates for the first two people arrived minutes before the rest of the group. One steak was forgotten about, then clearly rushed to the table as an afterthought. It was charred on the outside and rare in the middle - cooked too fast. Overall, for a place that is priced as high as this, the experience did not live up to expectations. There are way better places to go if you're willing to spend $100 per plate on a meal and drinks. I will not be returning."

"Went for happy hour. Brussel sprouts were the best I’ve EVER had. Bruschetta was just as divine! The carbonara was flavorless but the noodles were cooked to perfection. Chicken in carbonara is a little different. Chicken was tender but also flavorless. Dessert was good! Service was good."

"Initially I was nervous to try this restaurant due to the price range, however, you do get what you pay for as the food and service were absolutely excellent. I was very impressed by the creative flavors to add to steaks, particularly the green chili gorgonzola. This location is absolutely worth a try, if you’re on the fence take this review as your sign to go for it."

"I'll be adding Law's chophouse to the dinner rotation. Beautiful atmosphere inside and a great wine selection. Priced right. The service was fantastic. Everybody was really nice and helpful. The food was fantastic. Beautifully plated and creative. I love that they didn't give you a tiny portion, but it wasn't so much that you couldn't finish your food. It was well worth the money. I would recommend this spot to anyone and will be returning. I believe they have a great brunch. So excited to try that next."
