"I have been to this place several times and I have always been happy.I decided to get some tamales and green chili for a Christmas eve party this year and everyone loved them. I bought what I thought was way more than I needed and figured that everyone would take the leftovers home with them. There was only two left and they were quickly spoken for. Their food is really very good and reasonably priced as well. The two stars for atmosphere is not a shot at them at all.This place is very small and is strictly take out. I have to think that some of their negative reviews might have something to do with them being so close to a well established and extremely popular Mexican restaurant.I really like this place and I do hope that they thrive."

"First time trying these tamales and if I could give 0 stars I would. They were pulled out of the fridge and microwaved infront of us. The masa has absolutely no flavor and meat is very well done and extra chewy. That might be because they were microwaved, who knows. Either way eww! I do not recommend."

"I don’t usually leave reviews, but after trying Adelita’s I had to. I tried the chicken red tamale and the pork green tamale (as well as their salsa) and all I can say is wow. They were genuinely the best tamales I’ve ever had, everything was so full of flavor and absolutely delicious. Plus, the woman behind the counter was incredibly sweet. If you’re looking for quality tamales at a reasonable price, I’d recommend Adelita’s any day."
