"Our waitress was an absolute sweetheart, it was late but she was super helpful and friendly. Our 1st time dining there. I got the lobster crab enchiladas and he was indecisive so she recommended he get the fajitas. The portions were perfect, the food was delicious, fresh and hot. I definitely will dine there again and for a new restaurant in town. I was impressed. The waitress was cheerful, friendly even checked up yo make sure we were good and everything was okay with our dining experience. Considering we were like the last customers for that night. I was very impressed by her upbeat and super friendly personality. Located right off hwy 36 and 104th right behind the movies. There was plenty of close parking. You gotta try it!!!"
"Very nice atmosphere and friendly service. The jalapeño dip is addictive with the warm, thin chips. The steak fajitas were cooked very well and tender. Efficient and professional service by Patrick. Thanks !"
"Nice, friendly atmosphere, with an excellent host and waitress. Definitely try the guacamole dip, it's delicious and goes well with the house tortilla chips!"
"I had two Togo orders which included drinks so it was two large bags and a drink carrier with 3 drinks. Neither of the two employees offered to even help me to the car with the rider or even hold the doors open For me. Very rude staff. Please train them on customer service and helping the customers when their hands are full. Both just walked off and left the front door area. That was unacceptable in my opinion. Other than the staff issue the decor and atmosphere is nice. Prices are comparable to others. Would recommend but beware of the staff."
"I dined at Chuy's Tex-Mex, and unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. The queso dip, a Tex-Mex staple, was underwhelming. Not only was it lukewarm, but the flavor was lacking the robust, satisfying taste I had hoped for. This was a disappointing start to the meal, as the queso dip is often a highlight at Tex-Mex restaurants. Moving on to the main course, I ordered the baja shrimp tacos, hoping for a burst of flavor and a satisfying combination of ingredients. However, the reality was quite different. The tacos were dominated by an excessive amount of cabbage, and the flavors I anticipated were simply not present. The portion size was notably small, leaving me feeling unsatisfied and wishing for more of the supposed star ingredient – the shrimp. Adding to the disappointment, despite my explicit request for a substitute for the refried beans, they were included in my order. This oversight detracted from the overall experience, as attention to detail and customer requests are crucial elements of a positive dining experience. Despite these disappointments, I found solace in the quality of the martini and beer. These were the highlights of the meal, providing a much-needed positive note in an otherwise lackluster dining experience. Considering all aspects of my visit, I would rate Chuy's Tex-Mex as a 3 out of 5. While the drinks were enjoyable, the shortcomings in the food and service prevented me from fully embracing the experience. However, I am open to the possibility of returning for a redemption review in the future. Although, at this time, it seems unlikely to happen within the current year. In conclusion, my visit to Chuy's Tex-Mex left me with mixed feelings. While the potential for a great dining experience was evident, the execution fell short in several key areas. I hope that future visits will prove to be more satisfying and reflective of the establishment's reputation for Tex-Mex excellence."
