"Portions are large except for the create-your-own seafood boil. The sides are very good, we tried the fried pickles, flounder po boy, crab fries, fried shrimp basket with fries, Caesar salad, steamed oysters, and clam chowder as sides. All were pretty good, but the crab fries were a little salty and not exactly what one would’ve expected. The seafood in the seafood boil was cooked and seasoned well. Be forewarned; the seafood boil comes with potatoes and corn, in case you wanted to add more. Also tried the beignets and they were superb. The lemon berry mascarpone cake wasn’t bad, but could’ve been moister. Overall; not bad, we will definitely return with the family!"
"I visited Pier 8 between 3 and 6 during a weekday so it wasn’t peak hours but service was great. I really like seafood boils and this is very similar to others I’ve had. Seafood seemed pretty fresh and the king crab legs were huge and meaty. Cajun spice could have been a little hotter for me but they had some great local draft beers and a good selection of bottles - but no Miller Lite. Great appetizers and a good atmosphere for a date night or a family outing. Next time I’m in the area I’ll definitely visit again."
"The price of the "all you can eat" comes out more cost savings than the individual plated items, all have to do the all you can eat option. The first time I went here the flavoring was great, but the crabs were undercooked. The second time the same flavor garlic butter, spicy was salty. They definitely fill your bag with shrimp, if that's your order. We like the noodles all buttered up. The cheesecake was pretty good , beignets were okay. The oysters were grainy both times. The fried oysters were not my favorite. Ice cream is generic."
"Oysters were really good and fresh. Made our own combo and had head off shrimp with the garlic butter sauce. Got a side of the house blend sauce which was all the sauces, mixed together. Everything was good. But I was not a fan of either of the sauces, and ended up ordering the Cajun sauce which had more of a thicker sauce, but I feel like I didn’t get as much. The staff was really friendly and helpful. They had an amazing playlist, which had us basically singing to every song."
"Our server was awesome I believe his name was Jerry. So I wanna give him a shout-out and hope we get him Everytime we go. The food was good the all you can eat is definitely the way to go! The lemon pepper flavor was probably my fave. The margarita flight was cute and tasted Soo good."
