La Mariposa Mexican Restaurant

"Stopped here on a whim, with no research, which is against my norm. Upon entering the restaurant, we were intrigued by the atmosphere and decoration. I especially loved the butterfly located at the front with the name of the restaurant around it and with the upside down garden in the bar area. The upstairs patio was intriguing as well and I hoped to come back and be able to imbibe with another margarita up there. Peyton our waitress was super friendly and always had a smile on her face along with good recommendations. When I asked for a less sweet margarita, she recommended one of the spicy ones on the menu. It was a spot-on recommendation and a scrumptious margarita. My daughter had a non-alcoholic mango margarita, that was yummy as well. We had enchiladas mole, fajitas, and the barbecue corn. All was very good. We're super happy that we stopped and impressed with how busy it was on a Saturday afternoon! We will be back!!"

"Very nicely decorated restaurant. Good attentive service and savoury food, excellently prepared. Manager, Wendy, stopped a couple of times to make sure all was right. Margaritas were delicious."

"I haven't been to La Mariposa in a number of years, but I can tell you this, everything I ate tasted just like salt. Not a lot of flavor. For the price, the portion sizes were middle of the road, and I didn't feel that the food quality was on par for the $23 I paid. Service was decent. Our waitress Peyton was very attentive and friendly. Atmosphere is phenomenal. If I visit again in the future, it'll only be to drink. I'm sure that that's where this establishment will shine. Food is definitely taking a back seat to the alcohol."

"This is the spot. Before they moved this restaurant was good, the staff was friendly and always on top of it. Now they are 100 times better. More space, new menu and their brunch is the spot to be on Sunday morning. Make sure you come early because they do get packed. (Picture is of their 20" burrito. Really good if you want to try it.)"

"The new location is SO good. I love what they’ve done with the decor and vibe. As expected and as always, the food is classic delicious La Mariposa although you can see and taste little improvements here and there. Their specialty margaritas are very varied with something for everyone. Our waiter, Chris, did a great job with giving us a pleasant experience all around. Certainly come check it out!!"
