Farow

"As someone (originally from "back east") who is frequently disappointed in higher-end restaurants in Colorado, I have adjusted my expectations. But there was certainly no need to do that with Farow. The food was spectacular. The folks in the kitchen are the Penn and Teller of interesting ingredients, turning out one magical dish after another. How can celery root taste so amazing? The atmosphere and decor were perfect; the music was not too loud and intrusive, and there was not a TV screen to be found. Lastly, I can't say enough about the service, which is usually the biggest disappointment for us when we dine out. Our server, Alison, was great...she timed everything out perfectly, checked on us frequently, and she seemed as enthusiastic as we were about our meal. And when the place suddenly got slammed with apparently half of Niwot deciding to go to Farow at the same time, her service somehow even got better! We honestly had one of the best experiences at a restaurant in a very long time."

"Incredible coursed meal, ethical eating done right. Seriously unmatched in Boulder county, every dish was a seasonally curated adventure of flavor. Cocktails and liquor selection were perfect, I had the Seven Foot Drop and it is my new favorite whiskey cocktail. Highly recommend checking this hidden gem out."

"Food was excellent but portions could've been bigger for what you pay. The lemon pepper chicken was two drumsticks on some asparagus for $26, it was delicious but really needed more food on the plate. The charcuterie board was $28 but again needed more on there. I get this is farm to table but just add a little more. $14 cocktails should be $10 - $12. Again, they were really good but a few sips and they're gone. Dessert was great. Really enjoyed the ice cream and chocolate bar. But just either bring the prices down a tiny bit or add a little bit more food. Service was absolutely stellar!"
