Reviews of Super 8 by Wyndham Parker/SE Denver Area
"This place is an absolute dump in Parker, CO. I have stayed in some poor motels. This one is the worst of the worst. I must have made 8 different trips to the front desk for room keys they gave me that didn't work! The TV in the first one didn't work so they moved me into another. Guess what. TV didn't work! I finally lost interest in watching TV and gave up. It would have cost me two more trips down to the front dsk and another ineffective move! During my travels back and forth to the front desk I passed a work crew bringing in probably 6-8 huge exhaust fans. They were starting work for the night! I've never posted a review unless it was a good one but I felt compelled to warn everyone; This place needs to be closed down! Worst motel I've ever encountered!"
"3 days no TV staff ND room we're nice and clean but no wifi and cell service not to mention not tv except for channel or 2 but all had to moss every football game even nfl plus... because you're wifi was crab. I just feel like super 8a compensation because the main vanities you off,.not to mention the ice .machine was broken and I heard everyone all the guest complaining about drinking luck warm warm.amd getting like no TV you guys should do the write thing and compensate even one the from Friday to right now I hope we can watch the.monday night game"
"The room itself was ok, comfortable enough for a few nights. My main problem was that I booked this hotel because it says pet friendly. After a long 8 hour drive and arriving there at night it was pretty frustrating when I was told that they only accept dogs and was almost turned away because I had a cat. The front desk attendant was nice enough to let me stay the one night I booked for and he explained that this was a new rule. However I think it's very unprofessional to enforce a new rule that is not updated on their website and try to make guests go elsewhere. It also says the pet fee is $25 on their website but I was charged $50. Lastly my room was next to a side exit door which the key card to get in wasn't working, so someone kept popping open the door open with a rock. This made me feel very unsafe as it gives anyone access to the hotel."
"Decent hotel overall. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful, but there was one older woman when I checked in, who seemed to be in charge, who seem to be a lot less friendly and made me feel uncomfortable. However, she was helpful when I needed it, so that might just have been her personality and me misreading her. The room is decent, in particular the bathroom. There was quite a bit of table and desk space for me to set my things on and spread out. The pet rules were very peculiar and more strict and explicit than I'm used to — in particular, the rule about pets in the lobby seemed odd and unreasonable — but I never encountered any actual problems over it. I did like their concessions system in the lobbying, and their prices for those conversations were a lot less than reasonable than a lot of hotels, although still marked up above the retail average. The guest laundry room worked great and prices there were very reasonable. My one big complaint was how easily sound traveled into the room — there was quite a bit of noise in the hallways and it was very disturbing."
