Holiday Inn Express Denver Downtown, an IHG Hotel

"No hot water for the entire 3 night stay. It was a problem that numerous others had. The night attendant told me “It’s an old building” and to “try flushing the toilet a few times while the shower is on” which did not work. Room temperature is controlled by hotel staff, making adjustment a hassle. Small rooms. Tiny bathroom. The “free” breakfast, like all Holiday Inn Expresses, is mediocre at best. $50 per night valet parking."

"The room was a little small, but to be expected in downtown. There was no temperature control and it was hot all night long. The front desk rarely had someone present and assistance was minimal. The valet desk didn’t answer the phone for 15 minutes and no one was at the front either, resulting in us almost being late for a reservation. We also were not able to contact housekeeping."

"I recently stayed at The Holiday Inn Express Denver, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. Firstly, there was no free parking available, which was inconvenient and added unexpected costs to my stay. Additionally, the absence of a refrigerator and microwave in the room made it difficult to store or prepare food, limiting my options for meals. The quality of the beds was subpar, contributing to discomfort throughout the night. Overall, the lack of basic amenities and uncomfortable sleeping arrangements made for a less than satisfactory stay at The Holiday Inn Express Denver."

"Nice, clean, and affordable hotel in downtown Denver where a hot breakfast is included every day. Good gym facilities as well, and some rooms even have views of the Rocky Mountains. Walking distance to many downtown attractions. Lovely!"

"The standard room is the size of a standard shoe box. The heat is set so high we could barely breathe in here. If I could imagine the temperature of hell, this would be it. Contacted the front desk service and they said all the rooms are like that and they can’t change it and brought us a dirty box fan. The walls in the bathroom had something obviously spilled on them and it’s just left there. It is so hot in here it even smells hot. The heater vent is scorching you can’t even go by it without feeling the brutal heat coming off it. We live in Florida so we are used to the heat, this is a different level of hot and it needs fixed! The breakfast was good though and the lady at the desk was nice."
