"Good location but the water pressure in the shower is terrible, the toilet barely flushes and the management and staff clearly don’t want to be here. Also, no transparency about the laundry room and other amenities being closed due to renovations. They would not refund my room when I was delayed a day And then when I showed up a day later they tried to tell me that they didn’t have a room ready for me yet… after paying for a room for the night before. Any other hotel in the area I’m sure would be better."
"The rooms are great, lots of space! While overall pretty clean some renovation is certainly needed. The furniture is relatively worn out and there are some light bulbs not working/flickering. The place just needs a little more love and attention in general. But overall had a great stay here."
"Parking is not really good. They charge 60.00 a night for parking and when getting a place like this in the middle of downtown, they should have their own parking for us that should be included in the price of the room and it didn't say anything about that in my reservation or online that I saw. And the beds are not that good at all. If you have any type of back issues, these beds will be your nightmare. If it wasn't for these 2 things I would of gave 5 stars no doubt! They ladies behind the counter are awesome!"
"I don't write many reviews but I wanted to share this experience. I don't travel much anymore but when I do I look for amenities that I don't get to enjoy at home. I booked this hotel for the location as well as the fact there was a hot tub. I figured after walking all over Denver it would be nice to soak my old bones. For the 3 nights I stayed the hot tub was out of order. When checking in the staff was great, including the valet that let me know the parking across the street was cheaper than they were. That was awesome! The room was large and clean but the furniture had some wear. The free breakfast was great with many options and helpful staff that were there to clean up the vary spacious dining area. Overall it was a nice visit, but only 4 stars because I really needed that hot tub!"
"We choose the hotel based on good experiences at other Hampton Inns. When we arrived around 3:30, our room was not ready so we waited in the lobby with many other guests waiting for their rooms. When we arrived in our room, our room wasn't what I thought I reserved. The website showed 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa. There was no sofa. I was told by one employee that there are no rooms like what I booked, another offered a roll away at no charge. I was also told to ask for a room with 2 beds and a sleeper the next morning, after being told they don't exist. The cabinet with the fridge had a huge gouge and needed to be replaced, the tub/shower only worked as a shower, and some of the blinds didn't work. Luckily they were stuck in a down position. We went to use the pool and the basement level smelled like pot. The pool was either dirty or needed fresh paint on the pool bottom, so we did not use it. I did receive a small discount one night for the room not being correct and the gentleman working breakfast for most of our stay was very friendly. This hotel needs a lot of improvements."
