"Great service seating us, prompt and professional. We ordered cocktails, the elk appetizer and both the lamb and new York entrees... lamb absolutely knocked it out of the park, perfectly cooked and flavorful! The plating of the dishes does not reflect the flavor: flavor >>>>> visual. We had Madeleine as a server and she was prompt, professional and checked in on us at just the right frequency. Cocktails were tasty, had the Black Cherry New Fashioned and the Bow and Arrow which were both just right. Don't be fooled by the visuals, flavor and taste on point!"

"Good place for a quality meal. The steak was cooked as asked and the au gratin potatoes, which you don't see every day at a restaurant, were very good! The service was good also. It was our severs first night and he did a good job. The other servers made sure we were doing good also. Good music playing alao."

"The service itself was very attentive once we sat down, other than waiting at the host stand when the restaurant was basically empty. We ordered two entrees and an appetizer. The calamari was acceptable, the sauce was the best part of it. The issues were mostly the steaks, we saw great reviews so we had to try them while in town. It was the most disappointing 100 bucks I’ve spent in Glenwood. The food came out fast, but that was not a good thing since the sirloin came out blue instead of medium rare. Waitress noticed my reaction and immediately took it back to the kitchen (like I said above the service was great). By the time the sirloin came back the outside was pretty scorched since it had a pretty decent sear on it already. The au gratin potatoes with the dish was, plainly, unappetizing to look at. They tasted fine but otherwise forgettable. The New York strip was a bigger disappointment, it was about 20% grissle/fat. Both steaks were completely unseasoned which, when the steaks are perfect cuts and perfectly seasoned, can be amazing. But both of these steaks had glaring issues so also being unseasoned was just another glaring issue. The rice pilaf with the strip was completely flavorless and a dry to boot."

"This restaurant has a nice atmosphere a little bit of upscale cowboy. The cheeseboard we had was fantastic. A good mix of spreads, cheese and fruits, purely delightful. We had the special, walleye and a ribeye and both were OK. Nothing spectacular but definitely edible. Service was outstanding. Wheelchair accessibility: This place in general was fantastic. There were highchairs stored in the bathroom hallway that we had to have them move before we could get to the bathrooms but other than that everything was great."

"Really good steaks. Perfectly prepared. Their hand cut fries are top notch and they give you a lot. Veggies are well done. Other potato dishes are also good. Very nice wine list. Staff, Cat, really nice, needed a little coaching on handling the wine cork, but otherwise she was really nice and attentive. Parking kinda sucks, as it does for all of downtown Glenwood. It was a little cold inside when we visited in December."
