Safeway Pharmacy

"This pharmacy is so convenient for me, but time and time again I am burned by them. I think I've finally learned my lesson. Don't even try calling... They won't answer. I've tried calling as a patient and as a provider (due to my line of work), and I have never spoken to anyone on the phone. You MIGHT be able to speak to someone or even pick up your prescription during normal business hours, but sometimes the gate is just closed with no reason. (Not during lunch, I understand the closure at that time). Yet they message me multiple times per month for my business (immunizations, rx transfers, etc.). I'm sorry, but it doesn't seem like you can handle your current patient load, so I'll take my business elsewhere."

"The pharmacy is horrendous. If you go in person, they’re rude and unhelpful and, in my experience, have not yet filled whatever prescription was ordered, regardless of how much time has passed. If you call, I sincerely believe they want to get rid of you by never answering the phone. I had to call three times today because I was disconnected twice after being on hold for several minutes. The third time, I gave up and hung up after 20 minutes (they beat me!). Went in person and YUP. They hadn’t filled the script my doctor ordered 24+ hours ago. Loitered in the store for twenty minutes to finally get my EAR DROPS. Not a tough script to fill. I will never ever ever go there for prescriptions again."

"This pharmacy has the (quite possibly) worst customer service I have experienced. 3 times they have opened the pharmacy (NOT including lunch break) counter for business late. Being ex-mil, if you are late your customer service is garbage. Just today I was waiting for a scrip to be filled. The person on the phone (no names) says my Doc prescribed 'one pill' only to be taken, definite mistake. I called the pharmacy to see what was going on. Supposedly the scrip was sent on 15 Dec.....Don't you think you pharmacy geniuses would have reached out to me or the prescribing Doc for clarification???? This Safeway grocery is thumbs up.....this pharmacy is worthless IMO."

"Having the same problems as all the other one-star reviews written in the past week. Didn’t know where else to turn since this pharmacy behaves as if it is God and will withhold your prescriptions from you. Took an entire week for this pharmacy to fill one prescription. Now they are refusing to fill a prescription even though I am due and will be out of it today. I filled this prescription 32 days ago, yet they told me I only came in last week and picked it up…….whoa, what? She said she would check into it but that was a lie. Something has clearly changed with the autofill feature as it is no longer working and trying to force me to deal with these incompetent and understaffed people. Cannot wait to transfer mine and my family’s prescriptions TODAY."

"I really haven’t had any problems in the past. I recently moved out of state and need my prescriptions transferred, which should be pretty easy. Since I live out of state I have to call, which makes it really hard when the pharmacy turns their phone off every day. The pharmacy that I’m trying to get my meds sent to has also tried to call and has been hung up on twice. The female pharmacist at this location is extremely rude and not helpful at all. It has now been 6 days that I have been trying to get my prescription transferred."
