"Cathie and I both have had Amy Whitt as our PCP since we moved to Grand Junction in July. She is so dedicated to her profession always demonstrating incredible knowledge in diagnosing our medical issues and referring us to the appropriate specialists. She is always cheerful and shows genuine compassion and concern during every appointment. I have had very serious health issues and Amy has helped save my life more than once. Her nurse, Jacquelyn is also great. Her friendly smile, demeanor and nursing knowledge is the best. Both Amy and Jacquelyn take the time to carefully listen to both of us. We feel safe knowing we are in good hands. Also, the ladies who make the appointments, Carrie, Tracy 1, Tracy 2 and the others always remember us when we call in and are aware of my serious health issues. They really let us know they care about us and do everything they can to get us scheduled immediately when we have symptoms that are concerning. They also are great and I'm sure the job can be challenging at times when so many calls are coming in but they never rush us. The receptionist at the 510 29 1/2 office, Caroline and Ann always greet us with a friendly smile and ask us how we are doing. They quickly check us in and rarely have we ever had to wait to be taken to the examining room. We had a hard time finding a primary care facility when we first moved here but we really lucked out finding Marrilac. We both would highly recommend Marillac to anyone looking for a Dr who treats you with respect and exceptional care. We love them!"
"What is actually done here? No matter what I go in for it is always a referral. Who has the time to have one apt at marillac who make you come in early then leave you to waiting for 45 min to get 10 min time with someone who doesn't do anything because lack or knowledge or time who knows. Just ends up being a waste of time just to send you somewhere else. I have a fulltime job too. Seem to be in it to just get money by making apts. I am done with them."
"After hours care through their contracted company was a horrendous joke. Spoke with my regular dr on a Friday about an issue, and she directed me to contact after hours for the on call doc if my condition changed. Called on Saturday 12/23 at 1:39pm. Receptionist who answered at that time was rude, patronizing, and intentionally unhelpful. Said a nurse would call me back. 40 min later I had to call again only to find out she never bothered to relay anything to anyone. She should be FIRED, and it is a disgrace people like me who are disabled and struggle with the phone are treated like this. Even when I got thru to a nurse they never gave me care nor had the dr contact me back. Made excuses. Had to sit thru the weekend suffering an untreated medical issue, no help til my regular dr was available days later. The medical system is abysmal. 1/11 edit: Marillac has not contacted me despite giving one of their reps my info since they claimed to want to follow up."
"Amy Witte is our PCP since we moved here from Arvada in July. We are so blessed to have her and her nurse Jacquelyn care for both of us. We have had several health issues and it is always comforting to know we can get an appointment quickly and feel like they both really understand our issues and help us get well. The front desk is also very friendly and proficient. Marrilac is doing a good job keeping us on top of our health problems and we adore Amy and Jacquelyn!"
