Highland Recreation Center

"Not a typical rec center. Not advertised on the outside at all, but this appears to be some kind of senior center. Not much for exercise here, nor pool, nor locker rooms or showers. Wish that was made clearer on google and building signage."

"The weight room does not have any barbells or free weights. Machines and cardio only."

"I went on a sponsored senior trip with the rec center. It was a trip to the Georgetown Christmas opening. When they had lots of Interest they were quick to add a second bus. They also had a bus with the handicap lift. This was very useful to me. The trip was lots of fun. Friends could go and we didn't have to drive. We just sat back and watched the scenery. They go on lots of trips to different events. I would suggest this can any Denver seniors. It is easy to get a membership. You just need to live in Denver."

"New up to date work out equipment. Great instruction, activities, yoga, and the help always greats you with a friendly smile and can answer any questions you might have. I go here often and recommend it to anyone that likes a good workout. Abandoned us for 14 months. Kept all tax monies to upgrade the center. Warped sticks I donated two sets of balls so junk, warped balls would not have to be used. I no longer go there. Highlands destroyed my workout program and my health is failing fast, was healthy. Highlands has totally went down hill in the last 18 months. So sad so upset."
