Reviews of Quality Inn Delta Gateway to Rocky Mountains
"Terrible experience. I was double charged for the room and was assured by the woman at the front desk that she could see I was indeed double charged and she would resolve this. I then spoke with the manager who just talked over me, did not listen to my concerns, and just yelled at me despite my bank showing double charges. Absolutely the worst manager I've dealt with"
"Not secure. Stayed here in October. They lie in their advertisement. There is no pool or hot tub. They give you a voucher to the rec center up the street. It closes at 7 pm. The hotel is extremely unkempt and the surrounding property is in disrepair. The night clerk insisted the back door be propped open with a rock all night. It was cold. I asked twice to have the back door shut securely to no avail with them insisting it had to be open at all times. Noticed the bathroom walls weren't painted and then realized the paint had actually peeled off. The beds were decent and the housekeepers were very kind and did their best to make the rooms nice and clean. It seems like this was a run-down hotel that was sold and the purchaser didn't do anything to make it better but put new bedspreads on the beds."
"I stay in hotels often for work and can easily say this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I had a two night stay and found BED BUGS after the first night which included BITES ALL OVER ME. The night manager initially offered me another room and $75 off of my bill, which was frankly a joke. I reluctantly had to take the new room (trust me I wish I could’ve left right away but moving to another hotel wasn’t an option with work in this scenario) and stressed that I thought they should comp me for the entire two night stay. The night manager understood and agreed. The next morning when I was checking out the owner was manning the front desk. At first, he wanted to stick to the $75 refund and showed no remorse for what had happened. It wasn’t until I started to demand that he comp the entire stay while in the lobby as everyone else staying there was having breakfast that he agreed to comp the whole stay. Save yourself the roll of the dice and AVOID THIS ESTABLISHMENT LIKE THE PLAGUE. Beyond the BED BUGS there was nothing else decent about this hotel. The room had a musty smell, there was no water pressure, the breakfast is garbage, etc. I’d sleep in the City Market parking lot in my car before I considered staying here again."
"For the price, the room was barely reaching the decent mark (7 out of 10). Beds were ok and clean. We could hear a neighbor breathing, they were not snoring so there was no sound insulation. The staff was nice and polite. The room seemed clean but we saw long dark hair tucked in the towels and another one near the tub. The breakfast was 7 out of 10."
"Unfriendly front desk help upon arrival. Thankfully following employee was nice gentleman. Rooms are ok. Wood floors creak a bit and some boards move. Screens appear to have been broken off or attempts have been made to break into rooms on first floor. Window also unlocked, glad we caught it and was able to lock it. Bathrooms are smaller than average and outdated. Lack of security around hotel, back entrance unlocked 24/7. Key cards don't work well for room doors. It took A LOT of patience to get our room doors open. It is a nice location for use of Confluence Park/Lake. Overall my opinion is stay elsewhere."
