"I've had the pleasure of working with Dr. Wiggins for more than a decade. She is a fantastic orthodontist and I wouldn't trust the straightness of my own kid's teeth to anyone else!"
"Both my boys were treated by Dr. Wiggins! They have the BEST smiles ever!! Great Staff and an AMAZING Orthodontist!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart."
"Went in when i was younger, and wore my retainer as much as i could, until dr wiggin’s started tightening the retainer, which my regular dentist said orthos were NEVER supposed to do, and then one day she tightened it so much that on drive home it wouldn’t come off of my teeth, and snapped the retainer while on then, almost shattering my teeth out from sheer pressure, it hurt all the way up to my eyes the pressure and pain was so intense…… And then she refused to replace them for free due to it happening after we left, which we didn’t have money for more, so now my jaw locks up and is shifting constantly and out of blue locks up and has excruciating pain…i guess im just lucky she didn’t full on shatter them out of my mouth by tightening my retainer so much…."
"I'm reading some of the other reviews here and honestly I am very sad. I was going to come on here and say that perhaps Wiggins and her team specialized in orthodontics for children and some of the blame was on me for coming there as an adult. But after looking at the website and reviews, apparently that's not the case. I'm not sure what happened when I tried to get treatment. I went to Dr. Wiggins when I was in elementary/middle school and left happy as a clam. I wore my retainer religiously every single night for well over a decade after. I learned much later that after my initial treatment I was supposed to get a long term retainer. That never happened, and that could have been on my parents but apparently they were never explained the importance of it and/or we slipped through the cracks. Regardless, unsurprisingly, my teeth shifted until not only my bite but my smile felt like a stranger's. I also hit my jaw at one point hard enough to stun me, which apparently created visible damage in the hinge of my jaw in x-rays to this day. I was experiencing issues with clenching and grinding my teeth too. So when my crooked bite became unbearable I drove from Broomfield all the way down to Parker and got stuck in the snow out of a sense of loyalty to get the same care I remembered getting as a child. I told Wiggins all of this hoping for care while it wasn't too extreme or expensive. Instead, I left with a slightly adjusted retainer feeling like I was impatiently rushed out of the door by Wiggins. She told me that my changes would be so minor that she couldn't help me and I had an intense feeling that I had wasted her time. I asked about invisalign for smaller changes rather than braces amd she blew that off as my issues were still too minor for that. I checked if she was able to get me a mouth guard to help with the clenching and grinding and she told me not really. So I left thinking my teeth weren't so bad and it was all in my head, still wearing a retainer I was given in middle school as I approach 30. I asked a dentist for a mouth guard for the grinding. With an inadequate mouth guard from a dentist and increasingly shifting teeth and a retainer that still fit yet did nothing to help me, it was less than a year before I stopped being able to fully close my mouth, no contact between my molars. I desperately went to a different ortho. It took less than a year to reach that point. Fast forward to now. I am $6000 down the hole and counting and two separate orthodontists told me they were A. Shocked by the response Wiggins gave me, B. That my initial treatment wasn't evened out enough in the first place, and C. The fixes that I would need would take a long time and a lot of movement, and D. Invisalign was perfect for the sort of treat that would have needed at the time, and of course E. The mouthguard that the dentist gave me worsened the issue. Currently, after two rounds of invisalign my molars still don't make contact at all and I cant close my mouth. My current orthodontist tells me my story keeps him up at night because 'professionals did this to you.' So. I am not sure what happened here. I wish Dr. Wiggins had been straight with me and told me that she was not the orthodontist for me and that I should speak to speak another orthodontist. My issues when I went to see her were not minor. If I had received treatment when I saw her, I would have saved a great deal of money."
