"It pains me to write this review as I've had a positive experience up to this point with Dr. Carter through many ups and downs. Between less than ideal dental hygenists, a few surprises with dental work, and many cleanings later.... I will be moving on from this practice over unnecessary charges and poor business practices. I was just informed that all cleanings will now require a "dental hygiene review" charge which is required with all visits. This hygiene review usually includes the basic instructions.... "great job here, do better there, you could improve on flossing here..." and things like this. I have been a patient of Dr. Carters for 4+ years and been given one of these reviews at every visit but am now being told this is a new charge that insurance will not charge. Finding additional ways to charge loyal customers when completing the same service seems very manipulative and off-putting for a business. It was already a major inconvenience making this visit due to moving across town, but now I have a reason to look for another dentist office."

All staff are very professional, kind, helpful and knowledgeable - as a result, i feel at ease and confident that I am being provided excellent care.
