"Edited: I do appreciate the office manager reaching out and trying to correct this situation. It is appreciated. I am very disappointed and feel taken advantage of by this place. My husband and I both had deep cleanings done here 6 months ago. Like a lot of people we do not have dental insurance so we paid out of pocket. My husband was charged over $1000 to have a cleaning, X-rays, and a few cavities filled. This amount seemed understandable as we had not been to the dentist in a while. We were then told his teeth were good to go and that he would only need a basic cleaning twice a year from here on out. Great! We were very happy with this. When he went back in this morning for his next basic cleaning he was told that the last hygienist “didn’t do a good job” on his previous cleaning and that he would need to spend $600 to get a deep cleaning… His teeth were not cleaned at all today, he was not even given the option to have a basic cleaning done. Why would WE have to foot the bill for another expensive procedure when it was not our fault that the last hygienist did a subpar job? We were told we were good to go. I think my frustration is understandable. If we had insurance perhaps it wouldn’t be such a big deal. But it seems pretty ridiculous to expect the patient to pay for the hygienist’s mistake."

"I had not been toa dentist in almost 3 years due to the fact of previous experience and almost getting anxiety when stepping in to a dental office. Everyone in the office was so welcoming. I can not express how amazing Dr. Hutchison was. As well as one of his assistants that was working beside with him. They were both so kind and and very informative about the steps they were doing. I really appreciated how they took into consideration on how I was doing and feeling which I’ve never gotten before. I will definitely be making my appointments here from now on as well as informing others that may have similar fears about coming to a dental clinic."

"Simply the best! My teeth look better than they have ever been. I can't say enough good things about HighPointe Dental and Dr. Hutchinson. I found the practice by checking nearby providers on my Medicare Part B insurance. I looked at the Yelp and Google opinions and they were amazing. I chose Dr. Hutchinson because he is from Colorado and trained at the University Colorado. I've had dentists from other areas and they don't seem to stick around very long. The administrative staff had checked my insurance before I got there and gave me the cost breakdown immediately. The dental techs made sure that I had a blanket and neck pillow, nice and cozy. I haven't been to the dentist in a long while and was amazed by all the new technology. Of course there is the 360 and bite wing xrays. However, I had not seen an intra-oral camera before. It shows so much more detail than an x-ray. Dr. Hutchinson was able to show me the areas that needed work in living color from front, back and side instead of spots on an x-ray. They make crowns right there in the office which saves so much time and travel. I was thrilled to see that there were TV's with Netflix in the treatment rooms. There were TWO TV's, one on the wall and one overhead. They really helped to distract and pass the time. I highly recommend HighPointe Dental and Dr. Hutchinson specifically."
