"Dr. Thurman and his team are absolutely wonderful. I went in with an emergency, and they took me in (with a day that was already pretty full) and had me in a chair within an hour of calling them. They made me feel very comfortable by offering sunglasses, a blanket, tv show, as well as other items to put me at ease. I can’t thank this team enough for their patience and kindness with me. I HIGHLY recommend this place if you’re looking for a dentist in the downtown/LODO area!!"

"Not really sure about this office. Seems like they enjoy trying to upsell you on things that you don't necessarily need (night guard, wisdom teeth removal, gum grafting). They ask for payment deposit (50%) when scheduling a cavity filling a few weeks out and require 3.5 hours for 3 cavities? Also the atmosphere is very transactional. I'm confused by the other reviews, which honestly make me more suspicious. Wouldn't really recommend."

"I had the misfortune to need a tooth extracted. I'm terrified of dental work (which is the reason I needed the extraction I'm guessing) Dental Elements Is right by where I work so it is very convenient! But I went in literally shaking in fear. Then, the wonderful Staff met me and their genuine care started to put me at easy. What a terrific staff! Then Dr. Thurman sat and talked to me for quite some time to put me at ease! No dentist ever took that time with me before! He is such a calming presence I was no longer afraid! Once the procedure started I was perfectly comfortable! No pain, no fear, I've never been so calm in a Dentist office! I can't begin to recommend Dental Elements enough! I'd give Dr. Thurman and staff 100 stars if I could! - Kendall"
