Reviews of Castle Rock Dental Group P.C.
"I had a wonderful experience working with Dr. Williams and Ashley. The front staff was kind and efficient. Highly recommend!!"
"After having an absolutely terrible experience in monument, Dr. Williams and her assistant were wonderful. The front staff was wonderful. I am so glad that I was turned onto this dental group."
"I initially chose this practice because I was looking for a dentist to be aware of my anxiety for coming to the dentist. Dr. Bratton has been amazing. However a new provider has taken over many of his patients. I am disappointed in that I don't find her as caring and personable as what I've come to expect. When I schedule with Dr. B that's who I expect to see on the day of my appointment so needless to say it is surprising when someone new steps in for my exam. There's no pleasantries. The new dentist may be knowledgeable, but her bedside manner is lacking. She didn't introduce herself and appeared somewhat cool."
"Switched to Castle Rock Dental Group on a recommendation after my long standing dental provider stopped taking my insurance. While the people were lovely, there were several aspects of the experience that just didn’t live up to the expectations I had from my recommender. Upon entering the office for the first time I tried to acknowledge the receptionist but she was on the phone and didn’t seem to want to make eye contact so after lingering by the front desk for a few moments I seated myself in the waiting area. Several minutes go by and eventually another patient is exiting and begins talking to the receptionist as if they’re longtime friends. Maybe 10-15 minutes later the receptionist notices me and asks me who I am. I tell her and she begins to apologize profusely apparently not realizing I had been there waiting for quite some time with no acknowledgment of any kind. I was finally given paperwork to complete and then was promptly taken back. The first order of business was X-rays. I would have thought that X-ray procedures were pretty universal, but this experience was different from all my prior experiences having bite wing X-rays. The first difference was how many were taken. I don’t know exactly how many I typically get in a session because I never stopped to count. However, in this X-ray session it seemed like it would never end. After what seemed like more than a complete set had been taken, another hygienist or support staff took over the button pushing for the X-ray and they continued to tag team and take a whole new series of pictures. I’ve never been one of those people that’s overly concerned about the health effects of continual irradiation by X-rays, but this felt excessive and for the first time I was thinking about how much I was being irradiated. The second thing that was unusual in my X-ray experience was that the way the bite wings were placed in my mouth was extremely painful. It tore up the roof of my mouth and it was uncomfortable for about 48 hours. I’ve never had any pain or discomfort when having bite wing X-rays before. Next came the routine cleaning and polishing. I’ve been blessed with good teeth and at age 45 have never had a cavity. The hygienist complimented my maintenance of my teeth (which is feedback I’ve received for a long time) but then provided what felt like a very incomplete and partial cleaning. Maybe my old hygienist was just doing a lot of overkill, but it just made me wonder. When I setup my appointment I selected a specific provider based on the recommendation that brought me there and was surprised and disappointed when some random provider was assigned as my dentist. I later learned that the dentist I had set an appointment with no longer offered appointments on the day I was scheduled. I would’ve preferred to know that in advance, and be able to change my appointment, rather than being assigned a provider that was not of my choosing and feeling disappointed in my experience. Finally, as I exited the office from my appointment, I was stopped by the front desk staff and asked several questions because apparently the data I had provided them upon arrival had somehow gotten deleted or erased while it was being entered into their system. It didn’t take long to reconcile and it wasn’t a big deal, however, it just didn’t feel overly professional, and didn’t give me a warm, fuzzy feeling regarding their competence. It was hard to decide whether two or three stars was the most appropriate review, but I landed on a three star review because while I was disappointed by a few things, I believe the services that were provided were probably adequate, and the staff that I did encounter were all in fact very friendly."
"The receptionist was so friendly and calm with a room of patients. The assistant Cassie was kind and reminded me to breathe as my tooth was extracted and the dentist Dr. Williams was excellent and explained what would happen before and professional. I am so glad to find this office."
