"I really like the doctor, but there’s occasionally issues with the staff. Latest one was I needed a new night guard. They said it was covered by insurance when making the appointment. When I showed up they said it’s not covered and it would be $425. But didn’t bother to tell me beforehand so I could prepare for a lofty payment. When I went to pick up my night guard and try it on, I told them it didn’t fit right. They told me a few times it fit fine. Slightly frustrated that I wouldn’t just take their word for it they went to get the doctor and, lo and behold, it needed to be adjusted several times. Another example: Last year I got a check from my insurance company with no explanation. I figured I overpaid for something. Then Edgewater bills me with no info on the letter. I called and it took multiple people over days to figure out what they were even billing me for. They said I should have come to their office to give them the check from my insurance company and scolded me. How was I supposed to know that? They sent me a bill and they didn’t even know what it was for and then scolded me for not bringing them an insurance check with MY name on it. This exact same thing happened to my wife too."

"Everything has been great here until recently. Dr Roberts is great, kind, and does excellent work. That said, I called in today to check in on a permanent crown appointment (I’ve already seen them 3 weeks ago for the temp). Was told it would be at most 2 weeks before I’d have a quick appt to replace the temp with the permanent one. Never received word, so I called in today and was told they have the permanent crown on hand, but can’t schedule me for almost another 4 weeks (6 weeks from the initial appointment). 6 weeks between a temp and a permanent crown is unreasonable, especially when they told me the temp should last only a couple weeks without potential to fall out."

The team works great together and the providers are knowledgeable. I've had no problems with my crown, and the check up/maintenance appointments are always a good experience."

Dr Roberts was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain every detail. I felt very comfortable throughout the entire process and was impressed by the level of care I received."
