"Stopped in for the 1st time for some breakfast! It was very good. We ordered the cinnamon French toast plate & the bears choice meal. Eggs bacon & pancakes. The waiter was friendly & very knowledgeable about the meals. The only thing I thought was it was cold and I was sitting right under the air conditioner& this was the day of the snow storm. Otherwise it was very good and a $40 meal. The portion of food is worth it! We'll come back!"

"Visiting a friend in Colorado, she suggested Black Bear Diner. As a vegan, I was concerned, but our server Sara made everything so easy! She was polite, had really helpful suggestions, and even put together all of the option my plate make sure that the substitutions were done correctly! She was so friendly! I got the Oatmeal, it came with little bowls of nuts cranberries, brown sugar, and a teeny pitcher of oatmilk to make it just how I like it. Super cute presentation. I also ordered the Avocado toast, with extra southern style, home fries, and it was absolutely delicious!!! I really enjoyed the meal, the staff was so friendly, and the view of the mountains from our table was breathtaking!!"

"First time hitting this chain, but also local favorite. The people inside are friendly and it's a cute homey atmosphere. We were seated right away even though it looked busy from the outside. The food is pretty good, but lacked strong flavors overall for me. You get a lot or bang for your buck here as far as food goes. They also offer a slight military discount which is super nice as well. Overall a good experience besides the flavor of the food."

"I've been to a couple of the Black Bear Restaurants and I can confidently say that this is one of the best I've ever been to. Not only the place was decorated with Christmas lights, but the waitress were also dressed up which made a rather long day for me feel more cheerful. My server Donna, was one of the kindest people I've ever spoken to in this sort of industry. She checked in on me constantly, helped me choose an item that was better than what I usually get and made me feel very welcome. She was one of the best waitresses I've ever had, and I hope that she gets the praise she deserves. Overall, great food (I got the Waffle with chicken with a side of fries and the seasonal coconut mocha), amazing service, and most of all friendly atmosphere all around. I've found my new go to for food."
