Reviews of Springs of Life Children's Center
"DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE. My 2 year old hit her head and they FAILED to tell me until my daughter went into a seizure TWICE. THERE HAVE BEEN MULTIPLE INCIDENTS HERE AND THE TEACHERS ARE STILL EMPLOYED. The teacher that failed to tell me was Robin in the toddler classroom. There were red flags about this person for months! The director said "it was just a scrape but I'll talk to her" that's ALL she said They are being investigated and the entire daycare needs to be shut down."
"Giving an honest review here. This daycare has a policy for aggressive kids which I like because I have an extremely sensitive child. I’m familiar with all the staff and the bus driver. They communicate with me very well on transportation issues with my child’s school or any charges or fees I may have. My child has never been hit or mistreated by the staff here and only has loving things to say about the faculty. I did have issues with the director not getting paperwork in time in the past although I was turning it in, but I voiced my concerns to the director and I’ve never had any issues since. We love Ms. Veronica, Ms. Tori and Marley in the front office! They even let my child’s speech therapist on grounds which is great!!"
"It really saddens me to be writing this review at this moment. As of last week my kids are no longer enrolled in this day care. It’s after months of going back and forth with my son’s teacher about his so called behavioral issues that I have decided to remove him. My son has been suspended countless of times (1 to 3 days a week, since he started) by his teacher Veronica, with the support of the preschools director. My son is only 3 years old. As professionals in child development, I was not offered any solutions to the so called behavioral problems my son was showing in class. A 3 year old being suspended is not punishing or showing the child they are doing something wrong, it’s actually punishing us (the parents) for having to take off work. Even though we pay for our children to be taught and taken care of, so we can work. My question is: Is being at home “suspended” a realistic consequence for a 3 year old’s bad behavior? No! It’s more like a treat. My son does not exhibit these behaviors at home, as I’m told he does in his class. It’s also come to my attention there are other parents who have dealt with this same situation, with the same teacher. After thinking, I have come to the conclusion that my child is being singled out. As per my own research and speaking with my child’s primary care physician his behavior is considered normal and acceptable for his age (it’s all a process) but she did not show any interest of dealing with my son from the beginning. I do not understand how a child care professional would not correct these issues during class if that was the case, instead of basically telling me my son had problems and needed to seek professional help. She is the only teacher who has expressed this, with support of the director. I am disgusted by how this situation has been handled. My child was terrified every morning expressing he did not want to go to that class. And I’m understanding now he was probably being treated unlike the other kids. I need a place where they are willing and/or be prepared to guide my child on how to handle situations when they are not under my care, instead of being labeled, write ups and suspended. I would very much like to see something done about this, even with my children not being enrolled in this facility anymore. A professional should not act in such a manner. I’m horrified by my experience."
"This facility is horrible. The teacher in the preschool class, Veronica, is very unprofessional and shows favoritism. She discriminated against my daughter because she is nonverbal. Every single day, Veronica said my daughter was hitting or kicking some other kid, but she wasn't. She doesn't at home and every other teacher that dealt with my daughter said she is an angel and has never hit anyone.. because she doesn't. She simply used it as an excuse. I have removed my daughter from this ghetto "preschool"."
"I am removing my daughter as soon as I find new care. They had pickup issues and once left my daughter claiming she wasn't outside when she was, their meals are terrible.....Mac n cheese, ham and cheese sandwiches and cereal and they don't have a nurse on site for medical issues. My sister moved here from GA, and she has a daughter with a seed allergy and egg allergy. They refused to allow her to attend, though they had been notified well over a month in advance before my sister arrived. They didn't even tell her for two or three days after her orientation. Keep in mind that my niece is 12 and can avoid her allergies. They allow peanut allergies but not egg or sunflower seed allergies? Nah, I'm good. I'm removing my child soon, and instead of my sister not enrolling her child, they're losing my business because this is ridiculous."
