"The Welder's are great people with a great team of guides, ranch hands, cook. I had a great time there making memories and enjoying some amazing views! We were unsuccessful in getting an Elk but it was not due to lack of effort. Ethan our guide did everything in his power to get us opportunity, including recruiting guide JR and owner Shawn to help expand our coverage area! We did see a lot of mule deer, plenty of Elk sign and even a few cows. This was a hard hunt but a great experience, from the people to the well trained horses I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Welder ranch and outfitters!"

"We took the 2 hour family ride and had a blast. Two of us had never even sat on a horse, but the horses were tame, gentle, and experienced. Our guide, Deanna, was spectacular and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We enjoyed talking to her and she was very knowledgeable. Her “assistant” Texas was also a very entertaining addition to our trip. Deanna even took some amazing photos of our family at a gorgeous overlook. He took us on a great ride and showed us many sites of the White River area. Took us to several areas with great fresh powder and let us have a blast.
